Make - up ????

How can i got my foundation (powder) to stay on and not wear off through out the day, i dnt want 2 keep having to canstantly re - applying it

ideally you should get a primer.


but these can be expensive..


what i do is moisturise, put on liquid foundation then put powder ontop (it doesnt look as caked on as it sounds lol).


But i dont touch it up, and keep putting more on, i have ';shine control paper';, its like 拢2 out of any chemist or whateva, it just looks like small bits of brown paper, but you rub it on ur face lightly, it absorbs any grease and leaves a small trace of powder, soo looks brand new!





Its more of a solution, ather than just keep covering it up!


And it looks alot more natural!

if you only want to use powder, you can apply a light moisturizer on your face and neck - and then apply powder ...


That makes it stay longer, and works a little bit like a light foundation.





But, if you want to use something else - take foundation...a light one, and mix it eventually with your daily moisturizer - that way it is not too heavy.


That is better than powder - since powder should be a completer to the foundation ........

You can always change to a liquid foundation.





But if you really want to stay with the powder here's a trick that I use:


I put my moisturizer on first, then right after I put on my powder foundation. The powder sticks to the moisturizer. So it is harder for the powder to come off.

Foundation is bad for your skin. You will look better and younger without it. Also, you your skin can not breathe with foundation on.


However, if you want your foundation to stay on, put a cream foundation on first, then the powder.
there is no makeup that stays on all day. in the morning when you do your makeup use mac blot powder with brush all over your face. it is very light %26amp; it will set your makeup. but you should definitly touch up your makeup after you have your lunch. it will give you a nice fresh look and feel. good luck : )
Try Mac Studio Fix. I apply it in the morning @ about 7:00am and never have to reapply it again throughout the entire day. It is a little more expensive but in this case I believe you get what you pay for! It works great!
you can use a primer before if you don't already, and after you can use a photo finish type thing you can buy at mac, it's pretty steep price wise but it's totally worth it.

M.A.C. is great. Studio Fix is more matte. If you like the dewy look try their liquid called HyperReal. It covers great and gives your complexion a glow. :)
Try and make sure the powder is rubbed in good and use a make up wedge.

Just out foundation on then half way through that day put on a bit of powder with a brush and it will freshen up your makeup for the rest of the day without piling it on all day!
try something like bare minerals
my aunt's a make-up artist and she taught me a trick


if u want make-up to stay on all day without reapllying it...jus rub ur hands together so there kinda warm and tap them on all over ur face...it really works!
Try a different brand..
then don't wear a powder, just wear a cream or mousse.
