What kind of make-up could you use if you have dark patches under your eyes?

What kind of make-up would you use if you have a bump or a pimple that you need to cover up?

List some that do not make the skin look like it has glitter on it. If you could list some that are sweatproof it would be wonderful! What kind of make-up could you use if you have dark patches under your eyes?
Use yellow illusions concealer. The yellow covers up purple and blue tones. You can get sticks, pencils, cream.

Here's one from Physician's Formula: http://www.physiciansformula.com/en-us/p鈥?/a>What kind of make-up could you use if you have dark patches under your eyes?
a good concealer will help cover up any imperfections. try going to a cosmetic counter like Clinique, Estee Lauder or MAC and have one of the consultants help you pick out a concealer that matches your skin tone and will give you full coverage. Many concealers are different so it's best to go in and find one that will work with your skin type.
use concealer for unwanted zips scares BAGS .etc.. if u have dark under eyes, than u want to use a warm colored concealer to cover up the dark circles around your eyes.
Try some concealer - blend it with your foundation. It should work- good luck!

Can someone please make up an essay question on Othello for me to practise?

Ive got an in class essay, so i dont know the question.

All i know is that the question will focus on themes, dramatic techniques, character, plot and the language of 'Othello'.

Can anyone come up with a question which will include all that. Can someone please make up an essay question on Othello for me to practise?
You could write a couple of books on what you say your teacher might ask on the exam.

Discuss the paradoxical representation of good and evil in Othello.

Compare and contrast the character flaws of jealousy and envy in Othello and Iago.

What is accomplished in the asides and soliloquies of Iago when he is talking to or of Roderigo?

Discuss the ways Iago plays upon the fears of other characters in the play. Concentrate on Roderigo, Othello and Brabantio.

I really like this play. I hope you do well on your exam. Can someone please make up an essay question on Othello for me to practise?
The best way to write an essay for a question that you wont know til the exam is to have it really basic. The essential features of an essay is what and how. So, write an essay to the question:

What does Othello demonstrate, and how is it portrayed in the text?

That way, you can write a paragraph of each of the points you mentioned, and in each paragraph discuss how it was achieved, with reference to examples in the text.

This can then usually be adapted to the acual essay question in the exam, since essays are usually looking for what and how

Hope this helps, good luck!!
Maybe the motif of poisoning (Iago poisoning Othello).. also, you could write an essay about gender in the play.

I wrote a solid essay about perception vs. reality.. that is, the difference between what a character knows vs. what a character believes. Anyway, any theme that you could develop would make a strong essay-- look at diction, syntax, fig. language, etc. What an awesome play--
In what way is Othello鈥檚 race relevant to the events of the play? Does Othello鈥檚 race and/or status as an outsider make him more vulnerable to Iago? In what ways? Would Othello himself be different if he were the same color as everyone around him?

How do they apply all that green make up onto the actresses playing Elphaba in ';Wicked';?

Is it difficult to remove at the end of the day and how long does it take to put it on? Does she need to re apply in between matinee and evening shows? Obviously she can t leave the theatre for dinner. How does it all work huh? Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks. How do they apply all that green make up onto the actresses playing Elphaba in ';Wicked';?
The makeup is from MAC and is called Chromacake. The color is Landscape Green.

Its water based so there are no problems with allergies related to ingredients in makeup. They use wide Japanese brushes to do her face, neck and hands. Then smaller brushes to make sure they get everything. Purple blush and eyeshadow are used because the green flattens. The eyebrows are colored in with black. A setting powder is then applied so she can touch other people, kiss, etc...without the makeup coming off on everyone and everything.

During the intermission, they make her look more like an adult than a Shiz school girl. It takes about 30 minutes before each show to apply the makeup and about 10 minutes in the shower after to 'de-greenify'. She also wears a green body suit that blends into the makeup.

Also, she always has a green light on her to accentuate the makeup. She washes it off after each show. The makeup is very light and several of the actresses who play her say they get very used to wearing the green because it isn't uncomfortable or anything like that.

At first they airbrushed it on, but decided not to because the particles flying around weren't good for people singing and it wouldn't hold so everyone and everything Idina (Elphaba original b'way cast) touched would have green on them.

To the answerer below me: It is not your regular face paint, what you posted can irritate pores and cause allergic reactions. Stage makeup is different from just costume makeup. Stage makeup is meant to look as realistic as possible, but costume makeup is just for fun.

They originally tried doing it with an airbrush, but the make-up designed as well as Idina (original Broadway Elphaba) decided that it wasn't very good for their lungs to be inhaling all the make-up flying around.

There are a few video's on youtube which show different actresses getting the make-up on.
broadway.com did a video on this about a year ago, it shows how elphaba gets ready before a show, and lots of other stuff,

he is a youtube link

btw its in 2 parts

hi

its face paint and you spray a mist of water onto the pallete and apply with a small piece of sponge, its quite easy to put on and soap and water will get it off no problem, it doesnt take too long to apply, if you have a practice and time yourself, it might no need to be re applied betwwen shows, you might need just a touch up, take a look at this website for more info.

Dose Physician Formula make up work for people who have acne?

I have a lot of acne on my face but mostly scars/marks. Dose physician formula make up cover it well and dose it cause more breakout or actually helps it?Dose Physician Formula make up work for people who have acne?
i don't know!Dose Physician Formula make up work for people who have acne?
umm i have problem with tht but i buy like elizebth arden for like 20 and use clean and clear face wash and you ant tell i break out lol
Some of it is good, but check the ingredients for mineral oil, if it's in it, don't use it, it will make acne so much worse.

Alima Cosmetics (.com) is a good mineral makeup company if you can't find a color match w/ Physicians Formula, Alima is cheaper too.

  • How can I stop my make up rubbing off and make it look better?

I wear dream matte mouse- light beige colour foundation, eyeliner, mascara and sometimes some eyeshadow. The problem is throughout the day it tends to rub off and my eyeliner does too, and it leaves my skin looking quite dry. Has anyone got any ideas on how to stop this? How can I stop my make up rubbing off and make it look better?
You need to make sure your skin is properly exfoliated beforehand...then apply a primer or base, (moisturiser makes your face oily, shiny, and the makeup slides off) i use Napolean Perdis Auto-Pilot primer which soothes your skin and counteracts any red spots. It also helps your makeup stay put and prevents your makeup from seeping deep into your pores, preventing blemishes.

Apply all your makeup with your fingertips or a foundation brush, when you apply makeup with your fingertips the makeup tends to 'melt' onto your face as it has been warmed between your hands.

When applying eyeliner, dust some loose powder over your eyelids and heat the tip of the eye pencil over a lit match for 5 seconds. This makes the eyeliner easier to apply and it stays on for longer as it goes on warm and sets cool over the powder.

Once all your makeup is finished you can buy facial mists that set your makeup...i use one by Jurlique called Pure Rosewater. It sets your makeup so that it stays in place longer. If you go to buy one, it looks like a can of hairspray, you'll just have to ask.

=]How can I stop my make up rubbing off and make it look better?
moisturize your face before you put on foundation.

For the eyeliner and mascara problem, get waterproof versions (i.e. Covergirl's Lash Blast in waterproof.. Revlon Colorstay eyeliners etc).

For the eyeliner specifically, put primer/concealer/a base on your lower lashline as well, put the eyeliner, and then go over the eyeliner with the same colored eyeshadow to ';set'; it so that it doesn't melt off your face. Same idea as when/if you use powder over your concealer and foundation.
To keep your eyeshadow on longer, apply foundation to your eyelids when you do the rest of your face.

On top of this, apply a base coloured eyeshadow. This colour can be white, beige, anything that is neutral.

Then, on top of this, apply your eyeshadow colour until the colour is as rich as you want it.

The two layers underneath it will help stop it rubbing off during the day.
Try this: After applying the matte base, apply with a powder brush some powder to help make the foundation from runing. It sounds like you have oily skin because I do and my mu tends to wear off too. OR you may have to come out of the pocket and buy some primer for your face and eyes. MAC has the best I've tried. It worked really well and my makeup actually stayed that whole day. Like I said you're going to have to best some extra cash for that primer, but it's worth it.

    good luck! :)
hmmm..since you have dry skin, have you used a moisturizer to put on before applying makeup?

I do this and my makeup looks better.

Maybe the brand of makeup isnt too good either, look for foundations that are for dry skin.

I would reccomend dermacia makeup...its the best!
My daughter says Mac has the best make up and it lasts longer. She should know because she has thousands of dollars of make up.
you dont apply so much that's how you get it not to rub off
    use less makeup

Well according to ur description Loreal's light brown or burgandy colour will suit on u, i think highlights will look good on u.....

In case of make up, firstly apply some good concelear which suits ur complexion, %26amp; dont go for foundation, coz its already very hot..... %26amp; then go for some light pink or natural lipsticks. Apply lakme's kajal, mascara %26amp; eyeliner.....

Then some copper or light brown coloured blusher %26amp; light orangish or pale maroon eye shadow....What type of make up/ hair colouring should I use?
greens and pinks are a good combination for your skin tone. as for the coloring of your hair black is a hard color to dye away from so I would suggest going to a professional and have them help you.

Without seeing your skin tone, I can't tell you exact colors. But I have a couple of suggestions. There is an affordable line called Milani, that can be found at Walgreens and Target, that carries deeper colors for all women of color. If possible, do a consult with a local esthetician in a salon. Try realistic false eyelashes to bring out your eyes. What is the best color and make-up for aisan women?
    neutral colors
