Oh- makeup is one of my favorite subjects. Beware of buying cheap makeup, it can cause terrible side effects to your skin such as chronic breakouts, oily skin, over drying ect. you must remember that when you buy makeup its lasts quite a while so its not like you have to replace it weekly. I love Max Factor as far as good for your skin and all the shades,colors,and special effects you can get. If you already have some skin issues, Neutrogena has an entire line of makeup that is great, you can find it at your local CVS or other major chain drug store. If you ever want to go more expensive but well worth it try Clinique, usually department store only. To get really good makeup tips for ';Whats hot now'; never forget your bible(the current month of Cosmo) you will never fall out of date with this magazine.What is the best type of make-up to buy at the lowest price?
wet n' wild is a GREAT makeup type, especially for lipglosses and eyeliners. also, Clinique is good but it is expensive.

estee Lauder [ double wear stay in place ]is fantastic if you have blemishes like i do .i have tried all kinds and i always come back to that.
I have used a few products from Rimmel. They are cheaper than most brands. The quality is pretty good. I have no complaints with any of their products. It is available in Wal-Mart, CVS, etc...
I use maybelline matte foundation, which is really good about mm $5 or $8. Oh yeah i just saw a commmerical for ';pure makeup'; by maybelline and its made up of 50% OF WATER!! which is VERY good 4 your skin.. not sure about the price. Maybelline XXL mascara is very excellent.. has 2 steps 2 apply masacara.. the price is around 5 or 6 dollars. Almay is very good but the eyeliner costs around $6 or $7. Bonnebell eyeshadow boxes have lots of variety and the price is very good around $3 or $4.. and its not one of those cheapy kinds trust me i use it right now.

I agree with the previous answer, just wanted to add Almay. I use that brand as well and it's very good.
i love mary kay..all of their makeups work just as good as other brand names like mac, lancome, or clique. and most of their products cost only around $10 or less. :]
