i like eyeliner and lip-gloss.
i would like to try on light face foundation.something that can even out my skin tone.any suggestions?
please help.I want to start wearing make-up .What are some good brand and products for young begginers like me?
if you are a kid dont worry about foundation. usually teens have pretty skin and it wont be improved by a foundation but if you must, use either bareminerals or raw minerals. or another powder but dont use a liquid i found it often looks un natural. but for uneven skintone i recamend bareminerals. i love mayballine shiny-licious lipgloss in lolli pink. it adds just a hint of color while providing high shine! if your going to wear eyeliner, you need mascara too. so what I would do is use mayballine great lash mascara in very black. waterproof is best and it will come off easily with neutrogena eye makeup remover pads. on the edge of your bottom lashes, use a new york color eyeliner in brown. they are realy cheap about a dollar or two. above your top lashes, use covergirl eyeslicks gel eyecolor( its a gel based eyeshadow in pencil form) in moonshadow. its a shimery white. it sounds strange but a thin line will really make your eyes pop and appear wider. but the pencil MUST be sharpened with the covergirl 3 in 1 pencil sharpener. i repeat must. if not the pencil will break every single time. trust me! just remember less is more. use a light layer of powder foundation or it will look cakey and very thin lines of eyeliner. and the way you know if your make up is right is if you feel gorgeous! good luck!!!!!!:):):)I want to start wearing make-up .What are some good brand and products for young begginers like me?
Try Bareminerals! It sounds like you don't need a lot of makeup or you don't really have blemishes or anything to hide so I would say try it! The only thing is that it doesn't cover up acne very well, but from what it sounds like you don't have it. That's a good thing to begin with because it's very light but still works.
I use the Revlon custom shade foundation, but that might be too much cover for you. But it's handy because you can pick your own shade!
Eyeliner is pretty easy, because they're all pretty similar.
And for lip gloss, I can't really reccomend many because a lot (if not most) test on animals. But try Burt's Bees. I just use chapstick and it works pretty well!
If you're young, look at the drugstores because if you have to redo makeup b.c its messed up you wont be spending lots of money. CoverGirl has a nice light foundation, and for lip gloss at the drugstore you can pull of Lip Smackers, not just the lip balms. They smell fun and playful :). The company that owns them, Bonne Belle, makes makeup thats not in the Lip Smackers line. Its not as ';juvenile'; (even tho i wear lip smackers!) and they have more than gloss. For eyeliner, if you have brown eyes wear brown eyeliner and black if you have any other color eyes. And if you want mascara, you should use clear because if it gets wet or you cry it wont run and give you ';raccoon eyes';. It's also natural looking, and better than some waterproof mascaras (some of them make your eyelashes fall out)
definintely go light. anything too heavy and your skin will look gross and over-powering. something you don't feel. if its really gloopy or sticky, itll just look bad. remember, too much and you look like a whore. go natural. id say bareminerals too, its just not inexpensive. try physicians. the brand. its great and mineral but not as expensive as bareminerals.
I love the mary kay line. It great for beginners. The lipglosses are great for teens because they are very light. they also have mineral eye shadows to match. I always recommend the pinks because it's something that goes with every skin tone. that or the neutrals. You can look at the colors on my website if you like. http://www.marykay.com/tdavis75721 feel free to e-mail me at tdavis75721@marykay.com if you have questions. I've been a consultant for 3 years so any question you have, I'm sure I have the answer.
for eyeliner, if you're a beginner, use a pencil b/c they're much easier than liquid
lipgloss, anything is good as long as it's not goopy
I really like whipped liquid foundation because with powder you can most of the time tell that you're wearing it. try TrueBlend whipped foundation
Covergirl foundation and Maybeline duos for eye shadow. There is a darker and lighter shade. Use an actual brush and apply the darker to your lid and sweep the lighter color above your lids almost to your brow bone but don't make it too dark. Remember, less is more!
start off by going to the nearest drug store. When i was a beginner i used the inexpensive kinds from drug stores, but now that i am more advanced, i use MAC and brands like that
neutrogena
covergirl
wet n wild
i like neutrogena and almay
If you want Super cheap use elf
If you wanna go pricey Mac is my all time fav
