What is the best make up for covering blemishes?

I want something light and natural looking, but I want it to make my skin look as flawless as possible. I know it probably won't look perfect, but as best as it can. What is the best make up for covering blemishes?
Use Bare Minerals. It covers up blemishes and gives you a nice sexy glow to the skinWhat is the best make up for covering blemishes?
Use Arbonne and get rid of the blemishes once and for all!!!!!!!!!!

e-mail me I'll help you!!!!
Try mineral make up!
I like any really thick concealor. For example ones in stick form are great. N.Y.C. has one now for like $4 and it is great! Benefit has the It! stick and it is really good. They also have a great thick and creamy concealor in a little pot called Boo-ing.

Those are my favorites!
For me, nothing holds a candle to Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick. I just dab a little on any blemishes or red spots and it covers very naturally.
I use Almay make-up products...they make one specifically for blemishes and acne...it works great for me...you should definatley try it!
I get pimples down around my mouth area and I have looked for makeup to cover them for foreverrrrrrrrr...i finally have found a really good coverup that you can't even tell in pictures that I have even ONE pimple. It's Neutragena liquid foundation..i get the spiced almond kind (that's the color) it is 9.94 a bottle but sooo worth it..then put a powder over it to match your face ...i won't buy any other kind! You can buy it at Walmart in the makeup isle..and it is specifically for blemishes..there are a million neutragena brands of cover up just look for one that says for blemishes..it's oil free and wonderful.. Hope I helped..
i love the bare minerals - use the full coverage concealer brush - using the bare minerals foundation dab it on and you can cover so much blemishes, age spots, broken blood vessels - it's awesome!
I use Almay Clear Complexion concealer to cover up my occasional pimples. It has acne medicine in it so it helps to reduce th size of the pimple while it covers it. I used to buy expensive concealers from places like Clinique but have found that the Almay one is way better (and cheaper).

  • What are some good make-up tips and products for a black person?

I am a black teenage girl and I'm finding it hard to find good colours, shades for my skin and how to wear it so it doesn't look over-the-top. I have a skin-tone similar of that to Oprah Winfrey. If you have any good tips or brands to try please post it up and I'll have a look. Any help with any products will do just fine! Thanks. What are some good make-up tips and products for a black person?

go try buying cosmopolitan or marie claire mags. they're always updated in latest trends and fashion.
I use MAC products and have always been impressed. They cost a little more than the drugstore brands but they are long lasting and have lots of colors and choices. Also, if you go to a MAC counter, they will tell you what color you need and even make you up so you see what colors look best on you. So far I have used their foundation, eye shadow, and lipgloss and have been very happy with it. Good luck!
Girl all you need to do is go to the mall and where the sell make up in Famous Barr tell the people you would like a make over its pretty cheap and they will show you what colors work the best for you.Buy you makeup from Estee Lauder (in the mall) or cover girl.Another thing you can do is get a MAry Kay vist they will also show yow what colors work best for you and they will show you how to put it on and free make up samples.
go into the bon-ton and they have all those estee lauder ladies and they can help u pick out colors andshow u how 2 apply it

    thats where i learned
YOU SHOULD TRY COVERGIRL THEY HAVE MAKEUP FOR ALL SHADES.GO TO WWW.COVERGIRL.COM AND SET UP A PROFILE AND THEY'LL TELL YOU WHICH MAKEUP IS BEST FOR YOU.
A lot of places have free make-up services. This might be an option. Have your face done, then find simular products, in your price range.
You should try all types. I use covergirl foundation and pressed powder. To make sure that it will look natural take your pinky finger and place it on the top of the opening and take a small dab, rub it onto the inside of you wrist. This will help you to see if the color matches because the inside of your wrist and and your face are similar. You do not have to put foundation everywhere. By placeing it only on problems areas like your T-zone and evenly spreading you are allowing your skin to look natural and not all made up. Try diffenent eyes shades that you like, but stay away from bright colors like blue or green. If you want to use those colors use the darker shades thse will give you a nicer look.
Get an account on cover girl and find all the shades that are good for you.

Have you tried Bare Minerals its light and blends good
Why don't you ask an aesthetitian of Maybelline? As far as I know they have range of products for all skin colours. Try their site: www.maybelline.com

    Good luck!
    Don't over do it!!
Mac have a excellent range of colours, and since you are a teenager, you can carry off the extended range of colours they have. Also check out Shu Uemura, who make varied skin colours and carry natural but long lasting colours. In terms of having darker skin - most of the time you will need two shades of foundation, as women with darker skin tend to have a darker ';halo'; of skin around the edges of the face. What happens a lot, esp on someone like Oprah, is that they will apply a lighter shade to the rim of your face to lift it.

Also, although you like naturals, try something with some metallic or shimmer (Shu Uemura ME SILVER is a classic shimmer neutral) as dark skins can really really carry it off.
dare to be different use bronze eyeshadow and a light plum lipstick and a richer hue to make your lips look fuller and use lipshine just like i said dare to be different!!
You should try I-Iman, and you should read magazines like Essence, they usually have beauty sections.
Check out the tips at www.marykay.com/kfrench2006 and you can email me for samples for you to try free!!!

How can I apply make-up to my face without getting an infection?

I have eczema all around my chin along with really dry skin. After all the medicated lotion I put on it, it gets discolored and pale. Is there a product or method to apply cover up without getting my skin infected and become healthy? How can I apply make-up to my face without getting an infection?
I think Bare Minerals might be good if you can afford it. I have very dry skin and I get dry patches on my cheeks during the winter. If I use their moisturizer and make up, my skin is fine. I've also used the Gold Bond Healing lotion on my skin and Bare Minerals make up with no problem. If you cannot afford Bare Minerals, check out another mineral make up at Wal Mart like Physicians Formula or Nutragena, etc. Be very careful it doesn't agravate it. Good luck! How can I apply make-up to my face without getting an infection?
    Hi

I recommend you use really good products such as loreal or revlon or even Bare esentials that might be the best product for you by using good products your skin would be able to revitalise itself naturally and another thing dont wear heavy makeup keep it light and change your sponges often since a build can lead to your pores clozzing up

What is the best make-up product for dark circles under your eyes?

I'd be really grateful if someone could give me some good suggestions. I specifically want info on make-up and cosmetic solutions not remedies or possible cures. I've tried pretty much everything i.e. tea bags, ice-cold spoons, drinking lots of water, changes in diet, Preparation H, cucumbers (and of course sleeping!) etc to get rid of them, but I'm facing facts, its definitely genetic in my case. I had them when I was a baby :( Thanks in advance! What is the best make-up product for dark circles under your eyes?
Hi i have the same problem and tried everything then i came across ';YSL Touche Eclat Radiant Touch'; and its fantastic. It comes in a range of shades i personally use shade 2. You can buy it from any boots store but is quite expensive (Expect to pay around 拢25 pound for it i did the first time) but now i get mine from eBay and have paid no more than 拢15 pound. Honestly give it a try it really does conceal them dark circles.

I call it my little wonder stick. What is the best make-up product for dark circles under your eyes?
    Try a concealer.

If you have a mac cosmetics store around they're great at colour matching yo your skin tone and their products are great.

Usualy with makeup, if you have asian skin tones use a makeup with yellow undertones. If you're european in descent usually you use pink undertones. BUT to cover eye circles (and scars, freckles...) go with the opposite. So if you're asian use makeup with a pink undertone, but go 1 or 2 shades lighter.

This works wonder for me! Its all about finding the right colour so no one can tell you're covering anything up!

    Hope this helps =)
try YSL touche eclat cocealer stick, you can use it under the eyes, the eyelids and around the nose and mouth, expensive but fabulous!
Ok this won't sound very technical but I found a white stick it's in the form of a tube of lip stick it's actually white in color. I use it on my dark circles when I don't get enough sleep. Start with a clean face apply the white concealer under your eye I have found it doesn't take much then lightly blend. Next cover with your foundation and powder. I think I found mine at Sally's Beauty Supply. I've had it forever. This has been the only thing to work for me. The only other thing I could suggest if you can't find it anymore is to get the lightest concealer stick and use it in place of the white. I'm sure that there are other products out there in the pricey department stores but I've found that the cheap stuff works just a good if not better most times. Good Luck
    concealer
No 7 eye lightener, it just like the loreal one but cheaper at 11 pounds well worth it
    Use a concealer.
as crazy as it sounds...sleep with cucmber slices over your eyes.
without a shadow of a doubt (no pun intended), from one dark eyed person to another, i have tried many cosmetics...the best is yves st laurent 'touche eclat' . its great! hope it works for you. a touch expensive at approx 拢21 but it lasts a long time and does the job. Good luck!!

YSL Touche Eclate is good but Boots No7 do a much cheaper version which I think is just as good. Two things, use an eye cream not normal moisturiser as the skin around the eyes is much more delicate and don't use your normal foundation zas this will make them look worse because you want a product that will reflect the light to reduce the appearance of the dark circles.
try avon i hear thier under eye creams rerally work
I suffer from the same problem and the best solution is Yves St Laurent Touche Eclat which is about 拢21. But I've found that a good copy which is a bit cheaper is Boots No 7 light reflecting concealer which is basically the same format. I've tried lots of the other brand equivalents but these are the only 2 that I have found really work. The Boots No 7 version is only about 拢11 and I think it works almost as well as Yves St Laurent.
Yves Saint Laurent - Touche Eclat...........excellent for covering a multitude of sins!
    You tried tea-bag?

I often open the bag and take the tea out and apply directly to my skin of under-eyes. This works best when you sometimes during the period wet the undereye skin with tea fluid while still wearing the tea leaves skin on.

I did this and it dramatically decreased the darkness.
use some sort of concealer....that always works best.
I agree with lucylou,,,, YSL..Touche Eclat Radiant Touch... hides dark circles and iluminates the undereye area... very light... and even though it cost's 拢21 it will last for ages, it is a gold stick and has a brush on the end you press the button and the creame comes through... try it... and never look dark again
Yves St Laurent touch up stick
Paper Bag with two holes cut out.
I am a make up guru i.e I have bought every product under the sun, so feel i can help!

Under eye dark circles to be honest can not really be helped by cucumbers, patches etc - they work only in a very moderate fashion and you need a product that does the whole job rather then a half job (what's the point otherwise!) Patches help if you suffer from swollen eyes.

I have lots of under eye concealers (including YSL Touche which is good) but have found that Presciptives Camoflauge Cream is by far the best product. They can match up a good one for your skin colouring and if you wear a bit of foundation under it you will have a lovely even complexion with no tell tale dark circles! Using some primer under the eye area will help it stay on for the entire day too.
i was told emeroid cream helps
    Hi

You could try ';Iman'; stick foundation. I've used this as both an under eye concealer and as a general way to hide blemishes and I am pretty impressed by the results.
L'Oreal recently brought out a new concealer called Touche Magique. It is a bit like YSL Touche Eclat but 拢20 cheaper
omg - you havn't discovered Touche Eclair!!!!!!! the best!

Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat is a miracle product %26amp; used by the stars!I have always kept some in my make up bag for the past 3 years and it truly is a fantastic light reflecting concealer pen. It's the equivalent to a good night's sleep in a bottle for me! It is available in almost any cosmetic store or pharmacy. It is well worth the money and it lasts for ages too. Hope this helps!

How can I automatically make up lost pond water?

I am putting in a new 16'x16' pond. I am doing my best not to ';marry'; the project once it is complete. Water evaporation is an issue. I am looking for a mechanism that similar to a toilet, will sense the water level in the pond and add appropriate amounts automatically. How can I automatically make up lost pond water?
there are a number of ways to accomplish this but I think the most important is that the make up water will be free of chlorine.

I have found that waterfalls and fountains cause the most evaporation however, these are the reasons most people want a pond. I don't think your evaporation rate will be so high that you will be ';married'; to your pond and adding water every few weeks is not really a big deal unless you are building it far away from a water supply.

For the fill project you could have a holding tank with chlorinated water and a float switch in the pond that opens a solenoid to release the water into the pond until it reaches the desired level. but again there are a number of ways to achieve this. I recommend visiting a pond store for ideas. How can I automatically make up lost pond water?
youo're on the right track. what you need is a float valve. check your local plumbing supply or lowes/home depot.

What kind of eye make up can I use to avoid having my eyes irritated?

I do not use eye liner, just mascara and eye shadow. But lately, they have been making my eyes abit irritated. Are there types of eye make up that helps avoid this? What kind of eye make up can I use to avoid having my eyes irritated?
hypoallergenicWhat kind of eye make up can I use to avoid having my eyes irritated?
there is this company called arbonne, they sell great stuff, thier mascara doesnt have bat guano (poop) in it. its mostly hypoallergenic, it all depends on how sesitive you are. I have been using thier products for a year now and i havent had any problems, and i have sensitive eyes as well. most of the shades for eye shaodows and everything are neutral so if you are looking for more of an evening look it may not be what you want, but you should check it out. it can get a little costly tho, if you dont want to spend that much, may i suggest using a liquid or gel like shadow, that way it sticks to your eye lid and wont fall down into your eye. And putting a little vaseline on the lid and then wiping it off, before you put on eyeshadow always works well too.
Cream eyeshadow is the best bet for sesitive eyes. Eyeshadow with fleks of glitter and things like that are prone to give off irritated eyes!
i think is the eyeliner you well sometimes you could get pink eye.
yea what Eddie said. hypoallergenic, because you might be developing an allergy to your makeup. try MK's special formula makeup and mascara.
