What kind of make-up would you use if you have a bump or a pimple that you need to cover up?
List some that do not make the skin look like it has glitter on it. If you could list some that are sweatproof it would be wonderful! What kind of make-up could you use if you have dark patches under your eyes?
Use yellow illusions concealer. The yellow covers up purple and blue tones. You can get sticks, pencils, cream.
Here's one from Physician's Formula: http://www.physiciansformula.com/en-us/p鈥?/a>What kind of make-up could you use if you have dark patches under your eyes?
a good concealer will help cover up any imperfections. try going to a cosmetic counter like Clinique, Estee Lauder or MAC and have one of the consultants help you pick out a concealer that matches your skin tone and will give you full coverage. Many concealers are different so it's best to go in and find one that will work with your skin type.
use concealer for unwanted zips scares BAGS .etc.. if u have dark under eyes, than u want to use a warm colored concealer to cover up the dark circles around your eyes.
Try some concealer - blend it with your foundation. It should work- good luck!

Can someone please make up an essay question on Othello for me to practise?
Ive got an in class essay, so i dont know the question.
All i know is that the question will focus on themes, dramatic techniques, character, plot and the language of 'Othello'.
Can anyone come up with a question which will include all that. Can someone please make up an essay question on Othello for me to practise?
You could write a couple of books on what you say your teacher might ask on the exam.
Discuss the paradoxical representation of good and evil in Othello.
Compare and contrast the character flaws of jealousy and envy in Othello and Iago.
What is accomplished in the asides and soliloquies of Iago when he is talking to or of Roderigo?
Discuss the ways Iago plays upon the fears of other characters in the play. Concentrate on Roderigo, Othello and Brabantio.
I really like this play. I hope you do well on your exam. Can someone please make up an essay question on Othello for me to practise?
The best way to write an essay for a question that you wont know til the exam is to have it really basic. The essential features of an essay is what and how. So, write an essay to the question:
What does Othello demonstrate, and how is it portrayed in the text?
That way, you can write a paragraph of each of the points you mentioned, and in each paragraph discuss how it was achieved, with reference to examples in the text.
This can then usually be adapted to the acual essay question in the exam, since essays are usually looking for what and how
Hope this helps, good luck!!
Maybe the motif of poisoning (Iago poisoning Othello).. also, you could write an essay about gender in the play.
I wrote a solid essay about perception vs. reality.. that is, the difference between what a character knows vs. what a character believes. Anyway, any theme that you could develop would make a strong essay-- look at diction, syntax, fig. language, etc. What an awesome play--
In what way is Othello鈥檚 race relevant to the events of the play? Does Othello鈥檚 race and/or status as an outsider make him more vulnerable to Iago? In what ways? Would Othello himself be different if he were the same color as everyone around him?

How do they apply all that green make up onto the actresses playing Elphaba in ';Wicked';?
Is it difficult to remove at the end of the day and how long does it take to put it on? Does she need to re apply in between matinee and evening shows? Obviously she can t leave the theatre for dinner. How does it all work huh? Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks. How do they apply all that green make up onto the actresses playing Elphaba in ';Wicked';?
The makeup is from MAC and is called Chromacake. The color is Landscape Green.
Its water based so there are no problems with allergies related to ingredients in makeup. They use wide Japanese brushes to do her face, neck and hands. Then smaller brushes to make sure they get everything. Purple blush and eyeshadow are used because the green flattens. The eyebrows are colored in with black. A setting powder is then applied so she can touch other people, kiss, etc...without the makeup coming off on everyone and everything.
During the intermission, they make her look more like an adult than a Shiz school girl. It takes about 30 minutes before each show to apply the makeup and about 10 minutes in the shower after to 'de-greenify'. She also wears a green body suit that blends into the makeup.
Also, she always has a green light on her to accentuate the makeup. She washes it off after each show. The makeup is very light and several of the actresses who play her say they get very used to wearing the green because it isn't uncomfortable or anything like that.
At first they airbrushed it on, but decided not to because the particles flying around weren't good for people singing and it wouldn't hold so everyone and everything Idina (Elphaba original b'way cast) touched would have green on them.

To the answerer below me: It is not your regular face paint, what you posted can irritate pores and cause allergic reactions. Stage makeup is different from just costume makeup. Stage makeup is meant to look as realistic as possible, but costume makeup is just for fun.
%26lt;}:~)How do they apply all that green make up onto the actresses playing Elphaba in ';Wicked';?
They originally tried doing it with an airbrush, but the make-up designed as well as Idina (original Broadway Elphaba) decided that it wasn't very good for their lungs to be inhaling all the make-up flying around.
There are a few video's on youtube which show different actresses getting the make-up on.
broadway.com did a video on this about a year ago, it shows how elphaba gets ready before a show, and lots of other stuff,

hi
its face paint and you spray a mist of water onto the pallete and apply with a small piece of sponge, its quite easy to put on and soap and water will get it off no problem, it doesnt take too long to apply, if you have a practice and time yourself, it might no need to be re applied betwwen shows, you might need just a touch up, take a look at this website for more info.

I have a lot of acne on my face but mostly scars/marks. Dose physician formula make up cover it well and dose it cause more breakout or actually helps it?Dose Physician Formula make up work for people who have acne?
i don't know!Dose Physician Formula make up work for people who have acne?
umm i have problem with tht but i buy like elizebth arden for like 20 and use clean and clear face wash and you ant tell i break out lol
Some of it is good, but check the ingredients for mineral oil, if it's in it, don't use it, it will make acne so much worse.
Alima Cosmetics (.com) is a good mineral makeup company if you can't find a color match w/ Physicians Formula, Alima is cheaper too.hair magazine

How can I stop my make up rubbing off and make it look better?
I wear dream matte mouse- light beige colour foundation, eyeliner, mascara and sometimes some eyeshadow. The problem is throughout the day it tends to rub off and my eyeliner does too, and it leaves my skin looking quite dry. Has anyone got any ideas on how to stop this? How can I stop my make up rubbing off and make it look better?
You need to make sure your skin is properly exfoliated beforehand...then apply a primer or base, (moisturiser makes your face oily, shiny, and the makeup slides off) i use Napolean Perdis Auto-Pilot primer which soothes your skin and counteracts any red spots. It also helps your makeup stay put and prevents your makeup from seeping deep into your pores, preventing blemishes.
Apply all your makeup with your fingertips or a foundation brush, when you apply makeup with your fingertips the makeup tends to 'melt' onto your face as it has been warmed between your hands.
When applying eyeliner, dust some loose powder over your eyelids and heat the tip of the eye pencil over a lit match for 5 seconds. This makes the eyeliner easier to apply and it stays on for longer as it goes on warm and sets cool over the powder.
Once all your makeup is finished you can buy facial mists that set your makeup...i use one by Jurlique called Pure Rosewater. It sets your makeup so that it stays in place longer. If you go to buy one, it looks like a can of hairspray, you'll just have to ask.
=]How can I stop my make up rubbing off and make it look better?
moisturize your face before you put on foundation.
For the eyeliner and mascara problem, get waterproof versions (i.e. Covergirl's Lash Blast in waterproof.. Revlon Colorstay eyeliners etc).
For the eyeliner specifically, put primer/concealer/a base on your lower lashline as well, put the eyeliner, and then go over the eyeliner with the same colored eyeshadow to ';set'; it so that it doesn't melt off your face. Same idea as when/if you use powder over your concealer and foundation.
To keep your eyeshadow on longer, apply foundation to your eyelids when you do the rest of your face.
On top of this, apply a base coloured eyeshadow. This colour can be white, beige, anything that is neutral.
Then, on top of this, apply your eyeshadow colour until the colour is as rich as you want it.
The two layers underneath it will help stop it rubbing off during the day.
Try this: After applying the matte base, apply with a powder brush some powder to help make the foundation from runing. It sounds like you have oily skin because I do and my mu tends to wear off too. OR you may have to come out of the pocket and buy some primer for your face and eyes. MAC has the best I've tried. It worked really well and my makeup actually stayed that whole day. Like I said you're going to have to best some extra cash for that primer, but it's worth it.
good luck! :)
hmmm..since you have dry skin, have you used a moisturizer to put on before applying makeup?
I do this and my makeup looks better.
Maybe the brand of makeup isnt too good either, look for foundations that are for dry skin.
I would reccomend dermacia makeup...its the best!
My daughter says Mac has the best make up and it lasts longer. She should know because she has thousands of dollars of make up.
you dont apply so much that's how you get it not to rub off
use less makeup

What type of make up/ hair colouring should I use?
I have black, wavy, layered hair, a light brown complexion and I need some make up and hair colouring/ highlighting advice. Can you give me any tips? What type of make up/ hair colouring should I use?
Well according to ur description Loreal's light brown or burgandy colour will suit on u, i think highlights will look good on u.....
In case of make up, firstly apply some good concelear which suits ur complexion, %26amp; dont go for foundation, coz its already very hot..... %26amp; then go for some light pink or natural lipsticks. Apply lakme's kajal, mascara %26amp; eyeliner.....
Then some copper or light brown coloured blusher %26amp; light orangish or pale maroon eye shadow....What type of make up/ hair colouring should I use?
greens and pinks are a good combination for your skin tone. as for the coloring of your hair black is a hard color to dye away from so I would suggest going to a professional and have them help you.

What is the best color and make-up for aisan women?
I am aisan and find it hard to find the right color for my skin(Oliveish)and I don't know what colors to put on/around my eyes, and should I wear mascara? What is the best color and make-up for aisan women?
Without seeing your skin tone, I can't tell you exact colors. But I have a couple of suggestions. There is an affordable line called Milani, that can be found at Walgreens and Target, that carries deeper colors for all women of color. If possible, do a consult with a local esthetician in a salon. Try realistic false eyelashes to bring out your eyes. What is the best color and make-up for aisan women?

What is the best type of make-up to buy at the lowest price?
Which brands are the best to buy at the cheapest prices. What is the best type of make-up to buy at the lowest price?
Oh- makeup is one of my favorite subjects. Beware of buying cheap makeup, it can cause terrible side effects to your skin such as chronic breakouts, oily skin, over drying ect. you must remember that when you buy makeup its lasts quite a while so its not like you have to replace it weekly. I love Max Factor as far as good for your skin and all the shades, colors, and special effects you can get. If you already have some skin issues, Neutrogena has an entire line of makeup that is great, you can find it at your local CVS or other major chain drug store. If you ever want to go more expensive but well worth it try Clinique, usually department store only. To get really good makeup tips for ';Whats hot now'; never forget your bible(the current month of Cosmo) you will never fall out of date with this magazine. What is the best type of make-up to buy at the lowest price?
wet n' wild is a GREAT makeup type, especially for lipglosses and eyeliners. also, Clinique is good but it is expensive.
Cover girl brand
estee Lauder [ double wear stay in place ]is fantastic if you have blemishes like i do .i have tried all kinds and i always come back to that.
I have used a few products from Rimmel. They are cheaper than most brands. The quality is pretty good. I have no complaints with any of their products. It is available in Wal-Mart, CVS, etc...
I use maybelline matte foundation, which is really good about mm $5 or $8. Oh yeah i just saw a commmerical for ';pure makeup'; by maybelline and its made up of 50% OF WATER!! which is VERY good 4 your skin.. not sure about the price. Maybelline XXL mascara is very excellent.. has 2 steps 2 apply masacara.. the price is around 5 or 6 dollars. Almay is very good but the eyeliner costs around $6 or $7. Bonnebell eyeshadow boxes have lots of variety and the price is very good around $3 or $4.. and its not one of those cheapy kinds trust me i use it right now.
HOPE THAT HELPED!!!
I agree with the previous answer, just wanted to add Almay. I use that brand as well and it's very good.
i love mary kay..all of their makeups work just as good as other brand names like mac, lancome, or clique. and most of their products cost only around $10 or less. :]

How can I make myself white with make-up, without being too pale?
I need to look pale like the people from the Elizabethean era. After my face is white, i will need to put on lipstick and blush. What products should I use? I don't want to look too coustume-y, so preferbly not white paint. Thanks. How can I make myself white with make-up, without being too pale?
I would use an ivory powder foundationHow can I make myself white with make-up, without being too pale?
Try what we used to call pancake makeup, it's a really thick covering makeup that comes in a stick. Try Revlon, I think they still make it. It's basically a stick of foundation, try the ivory or pale ivory shade, follow up with loose powder in a sheer ivory shade.
baby power will not stay. I would use costume make up BUT apply it very very thinly...I think that may be your only option. I knew someone who did that and it look very good.

What color of Bare Escentuals eye make-up looks good on green eyes?
I am obsessed with BE make-up. I am looking into ordering some new eye colors, including shadow AND liner. Can you suggest any colors that would look really nice on green eyes? Thanks! What color of Bare Escentuals eye make-up looks good on green eyes?
hmmm. i think that bare escentuals actually has a kit for green eyes with some pretty colors. however, i never go by the instructions lol.
i think purple is GREAT with green eyes, and bare escentuals has some great purples. also, brown is nice with green eyes. i have to say though, purple makes them pop. if you get one of the kits you usually get a brush with about three different really pretty eyeshadows.
ulta or sephora's should have these kits. i got the brown eyeshadows because i was looking for a pretty brown shade and really liked them.
also, bare escentuals mascaras are great. every time i wear it i look like i have fake eyelashes on. everyone compliments me on it. it's a little messy to learn how to use at first because it's a wand with no bristles, but totally worth it once you have it down.
have fun!!What color of Bare Escentuals eye make-up looks good on green eyes?
I only use Bare minerals and i would have to say that i realllllly love there eyeshadow called ';downtown'; thats the one i use for everyday make up but if im going out and want to look extra special i use a little bit of the color called ';peacock'; it is grean but it has the shimmering color w/ undertones of purple green brown VERY beautiful colors! (i also use ';cultured pearl to highlight my brow bone)
I like the well rested, alot of salons sell bare minerals and so does j.c. penny. you should go check them out, it's easier to pick something like make up when you can see it in person.
when trying to match colors to eyes it is best to go in opposites of the color wheel. So for green eyes it would be blue.hair magazine

What make-up covers up spots, blemishes and scars best?
I have never really used make-up such as rouge, powder and all that, because I didn't need to. This is why I am not really familiar with the best type of make-up. I last bought a concealer but it was just a piece of garbage and a big waste of money. I mostly get spots on my nose when I eat anything too oily or spicy. I really need to know what make-up will be the best to cover my spots entirely. What make-up covers up spots, blemishes and scars best?
M.A.C. is the best cover EVERYTHING FULLY it can be kind of heavy if its applied a certain way and it may be a bit pricey but also check out bare minerals you wouldnt believe how amazing it isWhat make-up covers up spots, blemishes and scars best?
Loreal is great the color match foundation is best that i have ever tried
same with their concealer
australias powder is good and maybelline mascara
dermablend is the absolute best heavy duty concealer which is about 20 dollars and you can find it online or at higher end stores. Otherwise, for a cheap concealer...I really like CoverGirl smoothers concealer in white (about 7 dollars). Works excellent, its really creamy so it blends in really well and doesn't cause breakouts. I'm not super pale, but I prefer white concealer to colored because the white brightens the face more and hides blemishes fantastically.
purity works really good but it cost like 7 dollars

dermablend is the absolute best heavy duty concealer which is about 20 dollars and you can find it online or at higher end stores.
What are some tips for applying make-up to deep set eyes?
I have very deep set hazel eyes and I feel like eyeliner or mascara ends up giving me raccoon eyes. I have dark brown hair and mid-toned skin (not pale, not tanned). Any good tips for colors of eye shadow, too? What are some tips for applying make-up to deep set eyes?
i have deep set brown eyes and mid toned skin tooo. this is what i do.... okay never skip mascara! mascara is a must. but dont put it on the bottom. dont use dark eye shadows on the lids becasue your eyes wont stand out from those. try some eyeliner just on the top of the upper lash line. use whatever color you like as long as it is dark. to make your eyes pop use a light sparkly eye shadow on the brow bone. shimmery beige colors look great on lighter skin tones. for your eye color...blue and olives will for sure make your eyes pop out.
Good Luck!!! :)

What are the main ingredients that make up chewing gum?
How is it that we can chew, and chew, and chew bubble gum, and chewing gum, and it never loses its texture. How is chewing gum made, and what ingredients are used to make it?What are the main ingredients that make up chewing gum?
Up until WWII, chewing gum was made of a substance called chicle mixed with flavorings. Chicle is a latex sap that comes from the sapodilla tree (native to Central America). In other words, chicle is a form of rubber. Just like rubber bands don't dissolve when you chew them, neither does chicle. Chicle is a good bit softer than rubber bands and happens to soften more when it gets warm in your mouth. If you freeze chicle with ice, it gets very stiff -- chicle hardens and softens over a pretty narrow temperature range.
After WWII, chemists learned how to make artificial gum bases to replace chicle. These gum bases are essentially synthetic rubbers that have the same temperature profile as chicle.
Gum bases (either natural or artificial) are mixed with sugar and other flavorings to make chewing gum. When you chew it, the rubber releases these flavorings into your mouth. What are the main ingredients that make up chewing gum?
Semen... keep chewing...
Chewing gum is a type of confectionery which is designed to be chewed instead of swallowed. Traditionally, it was made of chicle, a natural latex product, although for reasons of economy and quality many modern chewing gums use petroleum-based polymers instead of chicle. Chicle is nonetheless still the base of choice for some regional markets, such as in Japan. Glee Gum is the last United States gum manufacturer to still use chicle.

How can you make believible scars with make-up?
I'm trying to do some photography of close-up scars, so is there anyway to make them look as real as any other pic on photobucket? How can you make believible scars with make-up?
Dunno...but I Iike your hat.How can you make believible scars with make-up?
Yea. well first you need to be ready for pain, then you go on a big rock wall and hope for the WORST lol. i have no clue lol sorry plz rate me best answer
i made one for halloween.
I used red nail polish, green eye shadow over it...to make it look bruised. Then green eye liner on both sides of the scar, then smudge.
umm yes you can do it with make up...thats how they do it in movies...
You can use wax, softened by heat, formed on wax paper. or white glue, with a little color added, and allowed to dry, forming the scar as it dries.
For closeups, you need good scars, so practice them first for a few days, and than shoot.
Your answer is liquid Latex! It works wonders. I use it every Halloween to make gory make up. And I've won numerous costume contests. Al you ready have to do is on a non-stick surface, using the latex shape the form you want. It will take awhile to do so. You need to layer the latex; drying in between. When it's finished using yet more latex glue it to your skin. Then use face paints and make up to bring it to life!
well,
you can get reallly dark red blussh, put that one first and make shure its really dark.. then you can put a sortof purplish blackiish eyeshadow on but make shure a bit of the red is showing..
i did it one year for a halloweeen party (everyone thought it was real)
Buy some fake wounds that you can attach on your face at a party shop near you.
Use eyeshadow in black, pinks, reds and browns...it might not be so good for closeups though....
use rubber cement. Apply it and let it dry , then roll the skin- it will stick together looking like a healed scar. Apply makeup and you can make it look any way you want
also try pushing the skin together and using super glue
im not sure how to make scars other than getting the makeup they use at stores...
but you can make very believable bruises with pencil. just a regular writing number 2 pencil.

What make up do i wear to make my blue eyes stand out?
Hey!
So i have bright blue eyes, and i was wondering if what type of make up i should wear to make them stand out?
Thanks! %26lt;3What make up do i wear to make my blue eyes stand out?
navy, brown, or maybe burnt orange. What make up do i wear to make my blue eyes stand out?
awww; i like your eyes%26lt;3'
anyway, try using dark eyeliner and eye shadow color; o mean its common that if the color is contrast, the color will either stand out one way to another.
It doesn't have to be any specific color, cause since you said your eyes are bright; so contrasting dark eyeliners and eyeshadow will make your eyes stand out(:
Almay makes a couple different trios to help make your blue eyes sparkle. I own both, the one combo is two different blues and a brown for the base and the other is a bronze with a tan and a darker brown, both look really good and I always get compliments when I wear them.
Aqua green type shadows, or pretty glitter type blue like the ocean. Also, a little mascara and a litttle bit of eyeliner on the bottom and you will look real nice.
Almay and Covergirl both offer eye colour enhancing makeup.
Definitely brown eyeliner/black. And brown eyeshadow. gold works too. Don't wear blue because if its a bright blue/gree/purple (anything like that), it makes blue eyes look dull. Same with dark blue eyeshadow. I have blue eyes so I know! Ha.
golds,browns,silvers,and blues.
brown mascara
brown eyeliner
black eyeliner would look good to but putting it all around makes eyes look small. try putting it on the outter corners
Browns, oranges, golds, and sometimes pink.
golden , brown , bronze , gray , black , navy , blue , toffee ...
use liquid eyeliner ... brown and black ..
use white eyeliner in ur water line =))
Gold eye shadow shades really make blue eyes pop.

What is the best kind of make up foundation and concealer?
I have tried different kinds and I don't think Im pleased yet. I need something that wont rub off and will last all day and keep my face looking soft. Something very light not heavy feeling. What is the best concealer to cover up dark circles? What is the best kind of make up foundation and concealer?
Hello kms,
How are you? My name is Cassandra Lane, I am a Certified Beauty Advisor with Avon. I recommend Avon's BEYOND COLOR Skin Smoothing Compact Foundation. Here is the description:
Instantly skin looks %26amp; feels firmer %26amp; more radiant. Smoothes on with creamy full coverage, dries to a soft powder finish. Evens out skin tone. .31 oz. net wt.
For the best concealer that covers dark circles, I recommend Avon's IDEAL SHADE Concealer Stick. Here is the description:
The perfect cover-up. Seamless, skin-true, full coverage. Visibly conceal under eye circles %26amp; blemishes. Preciselight Technology.
Eyes look tired? Gently pat concealer along under eye circles from inside out, then blend. Now you're out-the-door ready with spot-on confidence. .07 oz. net wt.
Beauty Tip by Jillian Dempsey...To cover dark under eye circles, choose a concealer shade a touch lighter than your natural skin tone. But don't go too light...or you'll spotlight the area you want to conceal and end up with raccoon eyes. There's a buy1, get1 half off sale going with this item. What is the best kind of make up foundation and concealer?
My favorite concealer is between Rimmel Hide-the-Blemish concealer, and MAC Studio Fix. Both cover under eye circles and minor imperfections amazingly well and since they have a creamy consistency, they don't budge throughout the day.
Are you looking for a liquid foundation? mineral? whipped? cream? For liquid I recommend Revlon ColorStay. It's tons cheaper than high end brands but is just as good. It's got a huge variety of shades and formulas and medium to full coverage. For whipped, I like CoverGirl Tru Blend whipped foundation. For mineral, I strongly recommend Maybelline Mineral Power.
I swear by Maybelline Liquid Minerals, it goes on really well and is kind to your skin, plus i like the fact that it's liquid rather than those annoying powdered mineral foundations. It doesn't contain talc or oil like most foundations, resulting in dry or greasy skin. Eurghhh
As for concealer, you really cannot beat Touche Eclat by YSL. It's expensive, but really worth the money. I got it on special offer so i bought two! seriously, you just whack it on under your eyes and it instantly brightens them and makes you look as if you've had 8 hours sleep even if you've been up all night.
Try looking for it on ebay, or on discount beauty sites such as www.beautyrocket.com, you might just get lucky!
Best of Luck! xx
Not really sure what I would recommend to you. There are so many products out there so what I end up doing is starting with the less expensive and trying out several products. The review site is pretty good at http://www.brandsmakeup.com visit and see what everyone recommends.

How do scientists determine what elements make up a star?
I was watching ';The Universe'; on the History Channel the other day. I know for time sake most programs gloss over certain things to address the main ideas. Can anyway tell me in a simple way how scientists discover what elements make up a star? I know that hydrogen converts to helium and etc. I am just wondering how scientists know that it is hydrogen, for example. Thank you very much! How do scientists determine what elements make up a star?
By the spectra of their light.
Specially the dark absorption lines which are typical of every element. How do scientists determine what elements make up a star?
by the spectrum (frequencies) of the energy given off. All matter, will radiate energy and does so at different frequencies. So by analysizing a spectrum, you can determine the substances that make up whatever you are looking at. Search under ';Spectrum of Elements'; to get more details.
They look at the star's spectrum. It's called a spectral analysis. Different elements give a different chemical fingerprint through spectral analysis.
See below
They look at the light coming from the star through a prism. The shade of the red shifted light indicates what gas the star is made up from.
spectral analysis: I forget the specifics, but it is something to the effect that each element produces different wavelengths of light. If you can measure the light you can find would what elements are producing the light.
spectral analysis.
http://imagine.gsfc.nasa.gov/docs/scienc鈥?/a>
Different elements give different spectral lines when tested - this is how Helium was discovered. People knew it was there but couldnt prove it in chemical experiments because Helium is so inert.
Extracting samples from the stars (very unlikely) , or collecting particles given off by the star which is the most likely way. There also may be rock samples on earth from stars, they can analyze them.

What would be good everyday eye make up for me?
I have big, green eyes. I need some ideas for everyday eye make up. I usually wear mascara, but I want to start wearing eyeshadow regularly. What would look good with my eyes? Something that can be done fairly quickly, like in the morning before school. What would be good everyday eye make up for me?
Since you already have big green eyes, highlighting them won't be much of a problem. For eyeshadow I would reccomend going with any shade of brown, purple, or coral/pink on a daily basis. These colors all highlight the green and make your eyes stand out like whoa.
Mascara and eyeliner is pretty simple, just buy a good volumizing mascara in any shade of black and a good black eyeliner that can be simply applied along the lower lash line before school.

How can I make my face make-up give me a flawless look all day long?
I'm pretty pale in the face and I have a few red spots on my cheeks, and freckles. I know how to pick the right color, but how do I make it look good the whole school day or any regular day? And are there tips to applying it to keep it looking good? And what is the best kind of make-up to use that is NOT expensive? How can I make my face make-up give me a flawless look all day long?
Use powder to set your makeup so it doesn't melt off your face throughout the day (even if you have dry skin)
I just use the Body Shop's powder haha.
It does the trick. How can I make my face make-up give me a flawless look all day long?
Just like beauty is pain , for long lasting , its going to cost you .Most cheeper makeup contains crap .
What you need is a primer , there are tons for different kinds but all you really need is a foundation primer and an eyeshadow primer .It does wonders , its a soft consistancy that basically demisnishes creses or fades by filling in the fine lines .Foundation primes evens out the foundation for a much better canvas , creating a flawless look .It also creates a barrier btw your face and makeup .Smashbox had a great one , there have them in different forms , such as the green one which makes your skin appear less red[ it will not be green on your face] , they have spf as well , brown for brown spots and the purple one for blending.I would suggest the green one for the redness on your cheeks .
Urban decay have the best eyeshadow primes, i love it , expecially for weddings , it will deffinately last you all day .
Hi there.
I used to worry about the same thing, but worry no more.
Depending on your skin color, as you say your is pale, you need to find the right shade. For the brand I LOVE Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse to start. Cover your hole face and neck evenly and let set for 5 minutes. If your ina rush you can get right to the next steo. Find a pressed powder that you can then pat over your face to set the makeup. I like QUO Satin Face pressed powder. Then you can brush a little bronzer over the apple of you cheeks, forehead, chin and neck. I f you dont like bronzer, you can use a blush or both. Now the easy part is over beacuse this will give you long lasting coverage without having to reapply.
The hard part is finding the right shades, but somebody in the beauty department of your local drugstore can help you with that. Afterall it is there job. So actually its not so hard. Good luck! Hope this helps.
There is this great website I've gone to, it's in the UK, but they ship all over and the prices are very reasonable. This one particular product, which is like Bare Minerals, called Purity Cosmetics, has healthy ingredients for your skin and they only sell this in the UK, but like I said, they ship all over. It depends on what you think is expensive, I've seen over here in CA., so many of these mineral based foundations extremely expensive, while over here, since they were so reasonable, I had to try them out here.
This particular make-up gives my skin that all day freshness we all want along with an even, healthy, glow. Spots are instantly hidden, which is amazing and the best part, it feels as if you're wearing next to nothing and you look air brushed! Can't beat that. My skin is darker than yours, but they have a variety of colors to choose from. Email them, not only are they nice and friendly, they give you the best advice for all your needs.

Try their Face Xpert Foundation ($8) for a flawless look.
This product from their new skincare line is awesome for setting your makeup and giving your face a great glow. It's called Mist Opportunity ($7) and it is my favorite new item.
Usea good natural foundation , mix a bit of ur own moisturizer to it..it will help to kip ur make up ol day long and then u can put anything afta dat....jus mix the foundation and moituriser before anything ,,,this will lock the cells in ur skin and avoid ur make to get spoiled and u can easily hide the red spos and frckels .
Well, there's a product that Bare Minerals carries called Mineral Veil. It's a powder that you put over your regular powder and it keeps your make-up intact all day long.

You may want to read a book on .html code or c++ as these are typically the easiest to learn. Most people have basic access to some form of .html editor.

That's it. How you write the code.
You say ';I don't know much about this stuff';. You are not going to learn coding, or programming here, not even the basics of how the ';stuff'; works.
You may want to read a book on .html code or c++ as these are typically the easiest to learn. Most people have basic access to some form of .html editor.

How do my husband and I make up a Will that is legal?
I have a child from a previous marriage and my husband has two. We also have four children together. How do we ensure that the 4 younger children are taken care of financially in the event of the death or one or both of us? The older children are 20 and 16. Will the life insurance and estate be split equally amongst the seven children or will more go to the younger ones because we have already put the 20 year old through college?
BTW: His 16 year old still lives with his mother and step father. The 20 year old is out on his own and my 16 year old lives with us.How do my husband and I make up a Will that is legal?
See an experienced attorney in your state. It will be much cheaper to pay to have your wills set up right from the start than to force your children to pay a lawyer a lot more money to fix any errors made if you do not hire a qualified attorney to write a valid will. It may cost you (depending on where you live) about $1000 to get a complicated will done. If you die without one and the kids have to fix problems, it will cost them at least $10,000 to fix it. (It takes more time and effort to fix something than to do it right from the beginning.)
For example - there are strict rules about how a legal, valid will is prepared. Miss any step and what you create is not a will and thrown out by the probate court. Also, if you already have a will, just writing a new one does NOT void the first one - there are special rules you must follow to void a previous will.
Those ';will kits'; are very risky. For years I told my father-in-law (and I am an attorney) to get a lawyer in his state to make sure the ';will kit'; he used complied with his state's laws. All he did was read the box and tell me yes, it says right here it works in my state. Well, guess what, the ';will'; he created turned out to be garbage, just like I thought it would be. The only reason his entire estate is not going to pay hefty amounts of money to an attorney to fix the problems of his dying without a will is that an attorney friend of the family has taken over the job.How do my husband and I make up a Will that is legal?
You can get a will kit at OfficeMax, or you can buy a book about this from the NOLO Press. That will show you how to make a valid will in your state without an attorney.
You need to contact a lawyer and just ask what you would need to do legally to be sure that everything goes where you need it to go. You would also need to find a family member or close friend who is not part of your will that you trust to keep a copy in case anything would happen to one or both of you. Also one word of advice is when you do your will you should both sign a clause that it can not be changed under any circumstances if one of you pass and the other one is still living. I've seen bad things happen and people try to make things different when one parent passes. Sometimes the step children get the shaft! Good luck. You may even want to try to get a lawyer pro bono. They will do one case pro bono a year.
You can specify which child gets what. (Either explicitly or as a percentage of the estate.) I would suggest spelling out amounts for all but one and saying that he/she receives the ';residue';. There are books at your local library which contain models for the wording of a will. Once you have it done, you should have it reviewed by a lawyer, then get it notarized and put it on file with the appropriate authorities -- the County Clerk's office is usually the place to file it.
Looks like you need some shyster lawyer to really make a mess of what is already a mess. My Dad trusted me and put my name on everything he owned. When he died it was easy for me to give each what my Dad intended to give. No problem but then I had a lot more than what he left. I retired at age 40.
I suggest you call a lawyer. I know, I know, the expense and hassle! Believe me I know. We have gone to see 3 lawyers in 5 months and still have no will. The 4th promises she will take care of it. We'll see. But when it comes to your kids pay the expense, indure the hassle. They are the most important thing in your life. And I know you want them taken care of. You need to name an executor as well as guardians for your minor children. You need to spell our how the money will be devided. If you don't want it divided until your youngest is out of college you need to state it. If you don't want any of the kids to get money until they are 25 state it. A lawyer can help, with all of that. Good luck I hope you do not have to go through the hassle we have to get ours done. And if anyone knows a good lawyer in NC that will do what they say they are going to do and do it in a reasonable time frame, not two months when they promised 2 weeks let me know so I can call them if this lady falls through also.
Wills depend on state laws as to what you can and cannot do, or how they are executed.
But the long and short of it is that if you draft a will you can split up your estate in anyway you desire. For Life insurance you decided the beneficiaries and how it is divided.
Now, there are certian more complicated rules that occur state to state if the child was born after the will was drafted, or if you are divorced and never changed your will. But you ultimately have control so long as you execute the will in accordance with state laws.
Given your blended family, your best bet is to consult an attorney so that your estate is distributed they way you want. Your state will have certain intestacy laws that determine how your estate is distributed if you die without a will. It is not likely to be in a manner that you might normally expect (and almost certainly not ';divided equally';). According to your state's law, your life insurance is probably not contemplated as part of the estate. Additionally, again given your blended family, if you find a good lawyer for your will now, your probate expense will likely be less than if you die without one. A will should not be unreasonably expensive.

What are the benefits of mineral make up?
I know there's heaps of talk about 'vitamins' etc, as if we are all going to eat the stuff! What does it actually do for your skin? Will it help with breakouts etc? Anyone had their skin inprove after using mineral makeup? What are the benefits of mineral make up?
i tried using INGLOT found in westfield shopping centres.. its a foundation that has no oil products..amazing and i dont get pimples even if i sleep in my make up.. and vwery affordable.. a bottle under $20 and when u go there they do a match colour testWhat are the benefits of mineral make up?
Minerals are naturally found in the earth and they are good for your skin. They help build collagen and improve skin's elasticity and smoothness.
Mineral based makeup is great for problem skin (rosacea, acne, oily skin, etc.) and will not clog pores.
For more coverage all you need to do is apply more layers than your usual every day wear. So for an evening look you will most likely apply a double layer of makeup and it still looks beautiful.
My skin improved ALOT when i used bareminerals... the original mineral wear. it keeps you from breaking out, you can swim and sleep in it if you want.. it gives you pretty good coverage, and if you do it right, it wont make you look cakey no matter how many times you apply it. and no foundation lines on your jawline or hairline, unlike any other foundation.
It has less chemicals in it, and it's not as thick as most makeup... which definitely helps your skin to beathe, which causes less breakouts...
I used mineral makeup for about a month, but it wears away very very quickly and i got tired of reapplying it (and it can be very expensive...) so i just went back to my former makeup.
its ment to let your skin breath which helps with breakouts.i bought some and found that yea you feel like you have nothing on your face but you also look like it! if u want coverage then i wouldnt bother but if u just want something to brush on to improve the appearance of your skin a bit if your not doing anything special then its fine.
The advantages ar that it makes your actual skin better gets rid of acne scars(if you have them) it is not cheap but it actually is amazing!!!
Try puritycosmetics.co.uk. It is really good!
it is more natural and has less chemicals. gives u a more flawless effect on the skin. but it is also a bit more expensive

What kind of resumer should i make up for a real estate agent job?
I wanted to apply for a real estate job, but sinse the age of 16 all i was doing is delivering pizza and waitering? what kind of simple jobs , that a real estate company might considere important i should put on my resume? What kind of resumer should i make up for a real estate agent job?
First piece of advice: Don't call it a resumer. That'll definitely NOT get you hired.
As for what you should put on it, I haven't a clue. I'm just a damned carpenter.
edit:
Sorry for being a smartass. Good luck on your career pursuits. What kind of resumer should i make up for a real estate agent job?
courier or something like that. you know, make copies, courier stuff, make the coffee, etc. it's a start
First you need to take the classes and get sponsored. This is really a horrible time to get in real estate except in Texas.
Talk to a few brokers/managers of the larger chains to get a feel for your specific market and how their commission split works, 50/50, 75/25, etc. You may have to pay for the classes yourself which cost $195 (CA) to $500 or more (OH) plus the cost of the actual 3 hour state license exam.
Real Estate is all about sales and customer service and isn't very hard to get into at all since you will be essentially working for yourself on a commission only basis.
Pick up a few resume writing books at the library and stress your education rather than your last two jobs. Run the resume word document through spell and grammar check especially since your question has ';resumer';, ';sinse'; and ';considere'; misspelled among other problems.
First of all it is RESUME and you need a license to do real estate. To work in real estate in a office you need to be a real estate lisenced sales person.Start off with a license and 1-2 yrs working for a agent then you get a good job. If you want to get into real estate you need to buy houses and resell them or rent them out.
Don't lie on your resume. Emphasise what you learned at your previous jobs, what kind of responsibilities were you given? You should point out that pizza delivery/ waitering involves dealing with the public and customers, as will the real estate industry. That's relevant experience! Think along those lines, you won't have to lie and you'll stand a better chance of getting the job (they check references and places of employment). And the fact that you have been working since you were 16 (even if you're now 17 or 18!) is really good too. Get your confidence up!
I would try being honest. As far as I know, REALTORS must sign agreements and code of ethics papers in order to get their license. If they found out you lied to get approved as a REALTOR, you will undoubtedly get your license suspended and perhaps be banned from ever becoming a REALTOR in America again.
Don't put anything on your 'resume' that you haven't actually done.
I would suggest that you take a course in English to begin with.

What is the best treatment and make-up foundation for severe acne and oily skin?
I have oily skin and bad acne...I have tried seriously everything from Pro-active to clean and clear to neutrogena to noxema to arbonne and everything in between. Salycilic acid and benzoyl peroxide do not work for me. I was looking into emu oil, but i dont know if it would make my skin even more oily or not, and if it would look good under foundation. I wear make-up as well, and since my face gets really oily quickly, i was looking for a good foundation that covers up blemishes and also does not look oily. I guess I am looking for suggestions about any face washes, creams, makeup or treatments that work well. I am a college student, and I do not have all that much money, so I usually do not get real expensive stuff. Thanks! What is the best treatment and make-up foundation for severe acne and oily skin?

http://geebal.blogspot.comWhat is the best treatment and make-up foundation for severe acne and oily skin?
hun...i have the same problem as u but not very severe....try clinique foundation or get power foundation or foundation fron loreal which has oil control. for the pimples try differin gel and eryacne gel. just take a small amount, mix them together and apply at night and wash it off in the morning with cold or tepid water. ohh yer....wash your face with your cleaner and then apply it.........try sleeping on your back at night coz it makes it easy for fluids to flow and try to get hair off your face when going to bed and dony eat alot off chille food...hope that helps and good luck.
Ask your doctor for a prescription for Benza-Clin. Also, I find that Neutrogena sensitive skin face wash works. Make sure you moisturize after every time you wash your face. It will make it less oily-believe it or not. I have also heard that putting egg whites on your face and letting it dry can do miracles if you do it every night for like 3 months. Lastly, no matter what the product says, no cover-up or foundation is going to prevent or treat acne for you. Better to let your skin ';breathe'; (the products that say they do this are lying) than cover it up. Maybe have your parents splurge on a trip to a dermatologist when you go home for a visit. Good Luck!
Mineral Makeup - not any old powder makeup, but MINERAL makeup is far better than any wet foundation. Your skin can breathe.
Also use Mario Badescu drying lotion on your breakouts. Don't shake it up, use it exactly how it says to use it, and you won't be disappointed. The stuff is fantastic. Be sure to get a supply of q-tips for using it.
You can find it on ebay. I just looked at the auction and you can get the whole facial kit including the drying lotion. (It was auction
#180035833144 - and, NO it is not my auction.) It can also be bought at MarioBadescu.com.
Good luck!
Read some very useful skin care tips and more on this site to help you

This will be as about as cheap as it gets. Dawn soap, wash your face morning and at night. Use rubbing alcohol to help remove the oil from your face before applying base.

http://geebal.blogspot.comWhat is the best treatment and make-up foundation for severe acne and oily skin?
hun...i have the same problem as u but not very severe....try clinique foundation or get power foundation or foundation fron loreal which has oil control. for the pimples try differin gel and eryacne gel. just take a small amount, mix them together and apply at night and wash it off in the morning with cold or tepid water. ohh yer....wash your face with your cleaner and then apply it.........try sleeping on your back at night coz it makes it easy for fluids to flow and try to get hair off your face when going to bed and dony eat alot off chille food...hope that helps and good luck.
Good luck!
Read some very useful skin care tips and more on this site to help you
Neutrogena it has salycilic acid that treats acne and its oil free.
start to clear all the acne then start the makeup i highly suggest mixing the right lotion will help trust me! i mixed a lot of lotions into one and it works!Even though you are college student the best foundations are found in estee lauder, chanel, lancome, m.a.c., and sheseido Good luck!
This will be as about as cheap as it gets. Dawn soap, wash your face morning and at night. Use rubbing alcohol to help remove the oil from your face before applying base.
What are the raw materials that make up pencils?
Well, I got a dumb science project, and I really need to know. What are the raw/natural materials that are inside a pencil. What are the raw materials that make up pencils?
I found this information off a website called
http://pubs.acs.org/cen/whatstuff/stuff/鈥?/a>
I just pick out the important parts
TODAY, GRAPHITE AND clay are crushed into a fine powder in a rotating drum containing large rocks. Water is added and the mixture is blended for up to three days. The water is pressed out of the mixture, leaving a gray sludge that is air-dried until it hardens.
The dried sludge is ground into a powder, water is added again, and the mixture is blended to form a soft paste. Carbon black may be added to increase the dark-ness of the lead. The paste is extruded through a metal tube to form thin rods that are cut into pencil-length pieces--called leads--that are then dried. The leads are heated in an oven to 1,800 %26amp;掳F (about 1,000 掳C) or higher to make them smooth and hard. The ratio of graphite to clay can be adjusted to vary the hardness of the lead: the more clay, the harder the lead; the harder the lead, the less graphite comes off onto the paper, making a lighter line.
Pencils are made by cutting blocks of wood into slats that are machined to form a groove (two to nine per slat) to place the leads. A second slat is glued onto the first, sandwich fashion, then individual pencils are cut from the sandwich and sanded smooth. The pencils are next painted with five to eight coats of paint, and a recess is cut for the ferrule--the metal ring that holds the eraser. The ferrule and eraser are crimped into place, and a metal stamp is used to press a label onto the pencil.
Various types of wood have been used to make pencils over the years. Red cedar from Kenya and the U.S. was an early favorite, but today nearly all pencils worldwide are made from incense cedar, a species that grows in California's Sierra Nevada Mountains. The first pencils were unlabeled and unpainted to show the fine grain of the wood used. But by the 1890s, manufacturers started stamping their names on pencils and painting them. What are the raw materials that make up pencils?
Graphite (that's the writing part)
The rest of it should be pretty straightforward. Look at your pencil. What are you touching when you hold the pencil? What holds the eraser onto the pencil? What is the eraser made of? If there is writing on the pencil, what was used to do the writing? (Actually, I'm not sure I know the answer to that last one; but it would be some sort of ink product.)
Here's an excellent PDF that should answer your question.

Is the Studio Make up Academy the best school to go to to become a make up artist?
I really want to go to school to become a make up artist for film/media. I have been researching schools and it seems to be the best. Reason being is that is is already in a major studio, and tuition isn't an arm and a leg.Is the Studio Make up Academy the best school to go to to become a make up artist?

What kind of daily moisturizer and make up do you use for your face?
And what brand foundation do you use?
I've been using Olay total effs (7 in 1 anti-aging) daily moisturizer and Shiseido's oil free powder foundation.
What products do you use for your face every day? What kind of daily moisturizer and make up do you use for your face?
I use the complete Clinque skincare line, as I have trouble skin. I really love their moisturizer! As for makeup I use 2 brands for the most part. I use Laura Gellar for my primer and foundation, then the rest of my makeup in Smashbox. Sometimes if I want a more natural look I jsut use my Smashbox tinted moisturizer. I buy all of my makeup off of sephora.com, they have the absolute best, plus they have tools to find the best makeup for your skintype. Also if you have a store near, you can go in and ';play'; with all of the makeup!!! So much better than the department store counters...What kind of daily moisturizer and make up do you use for your face?
I was a 2-1 moisturizer, and different kinds of makeup but I get all my products from AVON. Its 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed. That's why I like them products.

What happens if homologous chromosomes that make up a tetrad fail to separate during anaphase I?
Here's the full question-%26gt; Suppose the homologous chromosomes that make up a tetrad fail to separate during anaphase I of meiosis. Predict the results of this event. What happens if homologous chromosomes that make up a tetrad fail to separate during anaphase I?
tetrads failing to separate result in nondisjunction, so one of the daughter cells has too many chromosomes, and one has too few. down syndrome is also called trisomy 21 because the person has 3 of the 21st chromosome instead of two.

How often should I replace my make up brushes?
That is my concealer brush, foundation brush, powder and blush brushes.
I clean them once a week with shampoo as the cosmetic consultant suggested but I know that they should be all together replaced at some point.
Thanks! How often should I replace my make up brushes?
If you have good quality brushes and you take care of them by cleaning them at least once a week .....I don't think you would need to replace them unless they just get worn out or loose their shape or the brushes start to fall out ...... I have bought my brushes some of them in a set but mostly one at a time and I have paid alot for them so I hope mine last me a long time !!
Hope this is helpful ~~~
Unless you are doing your friends makeup each day too then there is no reason to wash them daily ...once a week is fine UNLESS you use them professionallyHow often should I replace my make up brushes?
Honestly no matter what tompanies tell you, because they just want to make money off of you, so they always tell you that the best by date is alot sooner than it really is,
it depends when you notice wear and tear.
usually when a product hits its expiration date doesn't mean that magically on that day, the product goes bad. THat's impossible. It's just that around that general timeframe it's not going to be AS effective and start declining, but ti can go bad before OR way after.
Totally depends.
You could just wash your make-up brushes with this special liquid or you could by them but its best to wash its less money!! But you could also do that the way you do it. I would do that too.
usually u can tell...they will start to fall apart. u should clean ur makeup brushes DAILY!!!!! As for replacing them u can go 3 years as long as they are in good shape.
your fine if you clean them with anti bacterial and towel dry
but the trick is make sure your face is very clean when you use them so they wont collect bacteria
Just replace them when they no longer do their job. My makeup brushes have lasted me for years and still work perfectly : )
you are doing the perfect job of cleaning once a week so I think you don`t have to be worried about that.hair magazine

How can you successfully cover up dark eye shadows under your eyes with make-up?
I have really bad dark shadows under my eyes! Even when I get enough sleep they're still pretty bad, I use make-up to cover them but that doesn't seem to work well. Is there a certain type of make-up that has worked for you or do you have any tips? How can you successfully cover up dark eye shadows under your eyes with make-up?
The newest trick I've learned is to put a bit of orange lipstick on the dark shadows, blend it out, then cover with your concealor, then foundation. I've seen it work wonders! The orange lipstick I've seen used most often is MAC Morange but any orange colour should do, it helps to cancel out the darkness. How can you successfully cover up dark eye shadows under your eyes with make-up?
conceilers and foundations make the fine lines that go along with the bags more visable. a really good moisterizer is important, then apply a good powder such as bare minerals with the bare minerals conceiler brush.
Try Wet N Wild Cover-All liquid concealer, then Tru-Match foundation and powder over it. Make sure you get the right color of tru-match.
Use a cold compress before you do your makeup, and make sure when you put anything near your eyes that you dab and blend LIGHTLY. Don't rub, or it'll make your eyes worse.
Put a little bit of nude-colored reflective eyeshadow under your eyes, and finish it off with your normal makeup, but try a little white eyeliner in the inner corner of your eyes. Both things will draw attention away and make your eyes pop.

And if you're looking for slightly brighter and longer lasting colours, try http://www.stargazer-products.com/store.鈥?/a> their eyeshadows, unlike some, remain bright for as long as they are on and do come in a variety of colours. How can I get different eye make up for parties?
well...for eye makeup...there are times when you just want to put a pale/skin colored eyeshadow or go without eyeshadow and put a thin eyeliner ..esp during day.Thin eyeliner under eye looks nice too.
During night..you may put the eyeshadow by mix and matching the colors of your dress and have a thicker liner...with dark eye pencil, under eye. With eye shadow..i like to try half and half..different colors. You can experiment with eyeliner colors....and u can add glitter.u can use a dark eyeshadow and apply on the ends of eye to give a shadowy look.
eyeshadow can be used as a dull liner sometimes.
There is so much one can do with eyeshadow, liners, glitters etc.Just experiment and try to find out what looks good on you.
Obviously don't forget mascara to give that additional touch.
Have fun!
Go on YouTube and search 'xsparkage' she has some awesome tutorials on various looks. She has over 200 vids I'm sure you'll find something. Good luck

What is the best brand of make-up brushes for a reasonable price?
I want to buy a set of make-up brushes, but I don't know what brand is the best. I don't want to spend a lot of money, but I want a little quality. What is the best brand of make-up brushes for a reasonable price?
You just can't get a good set of makeup brushes at a cheap price. I've tried all the cheaper brands, and it's just throwing money away. I recommend Clinique brushes because they are soft as silk, feel like air on your face, and they have an antibacterial coating as well. Do not buy Sephora brushes. They shed like crazy and they are not very soft either. After a while cheap makeup brushes feel like sandpaper on your skin, they don't wash very well, and they shed and get disfigured too. It's better to buy your brushes one at a time as you can afford them and buy good ones. When properly cared for, they will last a decade. Clinique sells their brushes in a set, and maybe you can ask for it for Christmas. What is the best brand of make-up brushes for a reasonable price?
In terms of my foundation brush, I got the one from TooFaced. Its expensive, but worth it. With other brushes, I find I can get away with cheaper ones. Meijer sells some that are around 6 dollars for 2 brushes, and they are really soft. Also, if you go to Bed Bath and Beyond (or another store like it), they will often have a brand called Posh, which is really nice. The set comes with like 10 brushes for $20.
i love MAC brushes. but they are pricey.
My second favorite is Coastal Scents. the brushes are soft, and they are well priced! also, every year, Costco (if you know it) has these gift set brushes for about 22-30 dollars. there are like 12-14 brushes, and let me just say, they are AMAZING !!! you definately get more for what you pay. also, try the elf eyeshadow brush, its great, and only $1 !
hope i helped :]
Sephora, Sephora, Sephora! They have the widest selection from foundation brushes to eye liner brushes and you can get sets that have all you need PLUS a cute case or bag for them all!

I do. I use kms mineral essentials which is an all natural vegan product and I am thrilled with the performance of this makeup. I cannot imagine using anything else. I never used to get compliments on my skin before, but now I do. When you are an older person, it's pretty rare, but I'll take it anyway. Haha.

I do. I use kms mineral essentials which is an all natural vegan product and I am thrilled with the performance of this makeup. I cannot imagine using anything else. I never used to get compliments on my skin before, but now I do. When you are an older person, it's pretty rare, but I'll take it anyway. Haha.

What color of Bare Escentuals eye make-up looks good on Brown eyes?
I have dark brown eyes,
what kit or 3 or 4 colors together would be good for my eyes? with what brushes?
Thanks a ton! What color of Bare Escentuals eye make-up looks good on Brown eyes?
Since you have brown eyes, the best color to really make your eyes POP would be bronzes and greens. If they make a kit with both those colors, that would be my recommendation.
For brushes, I looked on the Bare Escentuals website and found this little brush kit...

How do I remove a Clinique make-up stain?
I washed the stained shirt without spot treating hoping the stain would come out but it didn't. Now I think I have set the stain in. I have tried all kinds of commercial spot treatments (like shout) and other home remedies such as vinegar and dawn dish soap. Any other ideas? Thanks. How do I remove a Clinique make-up stain?
Have you tried this, soak the shirt in cold water, now take a little of your dish washing liquid %26amp; rub the stain in with your finger麓s L eave like this for a few min麓s. then pop back to cold water. If the stain has been removed , then wash on a 40潞c wash. It should come out. you said you dryed it in the dryer, It may not come out so easy, but keep trying like this .How do I remove a Clinique make-up stain?
DANCE!!!!! cha cha
then use vanish
if you dried it you set the stain.......I use windex.
Oops! Stains that are set are tougher to wash out. However, this is your best bet...sometimes I have clothes/sheets that have been stained for weeks until I have the time to launder them (LOL, I'm a messy bachelorette), and most of the time my items become nearly as good as new:
-Spray SA8 Prewash on the stain and presoak in SA8 TriZyme overnight. The next morning, wash as per normal. (These are Amway products which you can now buy online at www.Quixtar.com... Amway laundry products are known to effectively remove stain AND revive faded colour.)
-If that doesn't work, I scrub it out with Amway Upholstery shampoo.
At www.Amway.com 's product section look for the link to ';The Stain Doctor';... she can give you even better advice than me. Maybe you should switch to Artistry as well... it stands alongside Clinique as one of the Top5 skincare%26amp;cosmetics brands in the world but is soooo much more affordable than Clinique.
Im not sure if it will work, but at this point you dont have much to lose. I use a product called L.A.'s Awesome. its an all purpose spray cleaner that i find at the Dollar Tree store - i think a few other dollar type stores carry it as well. this stuff works miracles! i use it on everything!

Also if you have olive skin, dont wear super bright colors, like oranges, yellows, or reds. i look best in white, black or royal purple. and a killer pair of jeans will make your day. i hope i was able to help you!.What color make-up and clothing looks great on an italian girl?

Is the make up that McCain undergoes to appear on camera done to hide the possible spread of his melanoma?
There seems to be speculation that he might have suffered a mini stroke as well.
If this is true, it would be a shame and he will be struggling hard to keep on message. Lets hope it aint so. I for one would love to see the feisty exchange of ideas during a debate by both candidates.
Also looking forward to the Plain / Biden debate.

No. They all wear make-up when appearing on television.

This is for a Winter Formal dance, and I'd really love to dazzle. The dress is a red halter, with silver chain link straps. What would be proper make up paired up with a red dress?
try for an eye lined in liquid liner, if black is too much for you, try slate or charcoal...with a highlight on the brow bone....some subtle false lashes, yes, there is such a thing...
subtle blush and a subtle but shimmery nude lip, you don't want the red to be competing with your lipstickWhat would be proper make up paired up with a red dress?
If your NOT trying to look like a hooker, go barely there. Too much makeup and you'll end up looking like a clown. Put some very light/ faint red lipstick on w/ shiny gloss. Some very black mascara. Don't go over the top w/the makeup especially with a red dress.
I do professional makeup. It depends on your skin. For anyone... The radient dewy look is always a +. Dark beauties look great in shimmer to match with the silver. Lighter lovelies look radient when a slight tint to the corners of the eyes and apples of the cheeks slightly match the red dress. Don't over do it . Play up the eyes and us a shimmer lip gloss.

Go with your coloring, not by the color of the dress. But bright red lipstick would be appropriate.

How do make up smudge your contact lenses?
Okay so I went back in and they gave me a trial pair because I've already had my contacts for a year. I never had problems with them but then when I got my trial pair, the next day it got a smudge from my make up. I know its from my make up cause it was black. So how did my make up get into my eye and to my contact? The next day I wore my make up differently and I used pencil but It smudged again. How do make up smudge your contact lenses?
In a case such as this, you should use only waterproof makeup.
Then remove you make with makeup remover at the end of the day.
Keep you contacts in clean solution at night, also. How do make up smudge your contact lenses?
the way you handle it during putting it on and taking it off.... your hands/fingers must be dirty..... try washing and cleaning your hands and fingers first b4 you touch your eyes....
Maybe you should try putting on the makeup before you put on your contacts [:
you can go to you eye doctor and tell them you problem and then ask them if they have a cleaner for that
I think you're just wearing too much make - up and some of its making its way up onto your contact.
What was the makeup? If it's mascara, you probably had a clump on your eyelashes. You blinked, and it came off onto your lens. If it was liquid eyeliner, you may have blinked while it was still wet, causing it to smudge. Pencil eyeliner? That stuff can occasionally get powdery. Some of the powder may have gotten into your eye. same with black eyeshadow.
Contacts are a pain!
The previous type of lens you were wearing probably dried out your eyes more, the new ones are probably allowing more moisture to stay in your eyes. My new lenses have my eyes so watery I had to switch to waterproof mascara. Some days I wear my glasses so I can wear eyeliner again.
First of all, you should not be wearing the same pair for a year- if you do, you risk developing an allergy to the protein buildup which will cause very unpleasant side effects (itchy eyes, inability to wear contacts.) As for the makeup- make sure you are not accidentally putting eyeliner or mascara in your eye.hair magazine

How do you make your make-up look professional?
I can't seem to do it. How you make your eyeshadow, liner, mascara, and the like look professionally done? Which brands do you use, which ones look best? I like darker colors mixed with black, so how do you blend different coloured eyeshadows into each other? How do you make your make-up look professional?
I think the trick to professional application is in the brushes you use. You cannot get eyes that look professionally done using that little sponge tipped applicator that comes in shadow. Invest in a set of good brushes from a beauty brands store (like Ulta or Sephora) and practice your blending. Eyeshadow should never have a harsh line (unless that's the look you're going for) so a light hand and a dense eyeshadow brush will allow you the flexibility to blend and add color appropriately. Expensive makeup brands will often have more pigment in their colors, so less product will have more impact, but the right tools for application are what necessary to give you the professional look.
To blend black into other colors:
Prime your eyelid with an eyeshadow primer, or merely concealer all over the lid and up to the bone bone and se with powder.
Apply the color all over your lid with a medium eyeshadow brush (avoid the inner corner if your eyes are close-set, it will look messy and make them look even closer together)
Use a small rounded brush, not the same as before to avoid mixing the colors, and apply the black along your lash line and on the outer corner with a light dabbing motion. It can look harsh for now.
Use the medium shadow brush with a little more of the color on it a dab along the edge of the black you applied. Start working the black up and blending your color with it. Move some of the dark into your crease to make it more defined. If the black becomes to light for your liking, dab a little more back on.
If you like, you can sweep a little of the black or the color along you bottom lash line, just make sure to connect it to the outer corner. Use a tiny amount, a little goes a long way and it's more annoying to have to remove the shadow than apply a little more!
Hope this helps a little, but to get more tips go on youtube and look for makeup tutorials, there's a tons of them out there! How do you make your make-up look professional?
I LOVE L'Oreal's HIP (High Intense Pigment) Eyeshadow. It's a dual color compact that comes in a variety of colors that compliment each other. To get a professional ';look';, just takes practice. Try experimenting with different looks and styles (look in magazine ads for ideas).
You can also go to a cosmetic counter at any shopping mall and ask one of the girls to give you a makeover. (Most of the time they can do it for free). Then ask them what tecniques they used to apply the makeup and see what colors compliment your skin the best.
I use Makeup Forever and that's as professional as it gets. This line was used on Baywatch to cover the girls who had Tattoos . It's a great line that stays put and looks really awesome . One more bonus. They have some of the best colors for eyeshadow.. Check it out at Sephora.com. link below..

What coulor make up goes best with blue eyes?
Hey, I have a mixture of blue and a tinge of green with sometimes grey. But MOSTLY all a really pretty blue. I read on Tyra Banks site I should go with like an aqua blue.. what do you all think??? Whats best with my blue eyes? What coulor make up goes best with blue eyes?
Yea blue shadows definitely go w/ blue eyes. Purple is gr8 2. If u dont like 2 stand out, choose a lighter blue but dont make it look 2 weird, sometimes blue shadow can do tht. But if u like 2 make a scene (or jst look awesome) then i think aqua is the way to go. What coulor make up goes best with blue eyes?
I have blue eyes as well.
I wear a smoky eye shadow blacks and grays,
shades of blue (but always lighter than the coluor of your eyes)
and a lot of the times just natural shades of a light brown and the coluor of your skin.
It all looks great, and matches mostly everything.
You choose.
I have a nice blue as well, and I use gold. It looks really good, I think. :D My friends say so as well. Any shade of gold brings blue out. Blue eyeliner is good too. (: Purples are good for eyeshadow as well.
Green
GOLD BROWNS BRONZE EYESHADOW
I think that black and smokey eye makeup really makes them stand out!
golds, greens,and purples
my bff has blue eyes and she looks AMAZING in royal blue

What mineral make up is the best to use?
I have acne which is sometimes red and I want something that will cover that up. I am looking for makeup that wont break me out and looks flawless. There are so many brands out there. I just ordered bare minerals because I heard so many great things about it. But it is very expensive and I need something that I can afford. So is there anything that compares to bare minerals or is better in your opinions? What are the best brands. What mineral make up is the best to use?
I have a slightly different answer than the rest of the responses. I have used Bare Escentuals and NEVER could get along with it. I have skin that tends to get oily about 1-2 hours after makeup application. even though BE claims to work w/ oily skin, my face was an OIL SLICK when I used it.
After scanning the internet for alternative, I came across Aromaleigh mineral make-up. They have a Q/A forum that explains the differences in mineral make-ups. BE contains bismuth which is TERRIBLE for oily, sensitive, or break out prone skin. Turns out there were SEVERAL people that had my same problem.
Aromaleigh does not contain bismuth. Bismuth is also the ingredient that gives BE that ';sheen'; that they boast, which I found most people would rather NOT have.
Aromaleigh has a more natural look, with GREAT coverage...and it comes in TONS more colors for a PERFECT match. You apply like loose powder--there is no need to ';buff';(which I call smushing it further into your pores) like you have to do w/ BE. This will be a lighter triple milled mineral that glides over your face. If you have older skin, or dry skin make sure you order the Glissade. It is formulated to glide on and ';hang on to'; this type of skin. Voile is for oily/combo skin.
One word of advice, please take advantage of the sampling program they offer. Order several colors. It is one more step before the ordering process, but it will be well worth it. You may also find that there is more than one color that will work...this is normal for most people. You can also mix and match colors. The best advantage? It is WAY cheaper and they will deliver it to your door--Great in my busy schedule. I have never had ANY problem with delivery or Customer Service.
I urge anyone that reads this response that is already using BE, got to www.aromaleigh.com and check it out, especially if you like BE, but aren't OVERLY thrilled with every aspect. What mineral make up is the best to use?
I believe Avon and Loreal are also coming up with their own line of mineral make up. I am not sure about the prices though. I am guessing that they might be a bit cheaper than Bare Minerals. Personally, i love Bare Minerals. They rock.
Bare Minerals all the way鈾モ櫏鈾? You can buy it off the net and sephora stores in the mall Bare Minerals calms skin problems, improves your overall complexion, can make your acne heal, looks NATURAL, provides full coverage, and many other benefits.
http://www.sephora.com/browse/brand_hier鈥?/a>
Hope this helps!
I agree with Shutupnshow (sp) about the bismuth oxychloride. That ingredient does not actually help skin. It may cover it up, but does not ';heal'; like the BE suggests it does. I researched TONS of mineral makeup. I have really sensitive skin that is acne prone, so I won't use ANYTHING that has bismuth oxychloride. I use Everyday Minerals. It has less ingredients and better coverage (I think) than BE.
www.everydayminerals.com. Free (plus s%26amp;h) sample kit, foundation is $12 a jar, but custom kits are a deal. Check it out.
I've only used Bare Minerals, so I can't give you any comparisons. I purchase my Bare Minerals on eBay. Shop for them early, so you can take your time to get the best deal. You don't have to worry about running out before you get your makeup. I also purchased the Bare Minerals concealer brush. It works really well for the extra coverage you need over certain areas of your face. I got it on eBay also, for about $3.00.
bare minerals are good also i believe physican's formula also has stuff tht u would like alot. oh and also my favorite brand neutrogena also has some good stuff
colorscience is a great brand of mineral makeup that offers sheer coverage and spf which is sumthin very useful to sensitive acne-prone skin
all are quite good it seems
Bare minerals is really the best for skin problems, the concealer they make, multi-tasking bisque, will cover nearly everything. You can get it on Ebay for less than they charge at Sephora or BE themselves. I just bought a 9gm jar for less, including shipping, than BE's catalog price, just watch the feedback on the seller - don't go with one that has many negatives, they're not trustworthy. You'll love the stuff once you try it!
So many of the pure mineral foundations are really quite good. And most of them, PurMinerals, Mineralsilk, Ennvoycosmetics, MyMinerals, Sheer Cover, etc. are all around the same price. The factor you really need to consider is the COLOR of the foundations. Some are too pale looking, some have a yellowish or too pinkish tone. I think BareMinerals comes in closest to the skin colors of most people (whether fair, average, or dark) which is why I have stuck to that brand. My trick is ---I buy it on EBAY and save a lot of money!

How do I apply make up so it makes me look good?
Alright, I am a semi-dark indian. I have brown eyes, but they look black. My eyelashes are very thick and long. I already wear eye liner on my upper eye ans on the bottom. I wear mascara.
I just need AWESOME make up suggestions. How do I apply make up so it makes me look good?
You sound like you have a great complexion to begin with so go as natural as possible. To much gunk on a face is unhealthy and not that pretty. Use gold tones for your eyes and only apply the mascara and eyeliner to the top lashes for a natural look. Don't over do the lip stick either. This sounds weird but I get a eyeshadow brush and find a really pretty blush (for you rose colors would be great). I lightly dab the blush on my lips for a natural looking color and then apply chap stick. It is not heavy like a lipstick plus chapstick has SPF in it. Put white eyeshadow (or silver anything light colored) in the corner of your eyes to make them appear larger. Good Luck!!!How do I apply make up so it makes me look good?
I'm always about the eyes. I have always done black eyeliner and black mascara, which is what you usually do but lately I've been experimenting with blue.
I use blue mascara but seeing as how i have black eyelashes, it doesn't show up unless you're in direct sunlight, and even then it looks purple. Despite those shortcomings, I still wear it because I like the subtle color it gives. When you have black hair, your mascara color choices are severely limited.
I just bought blue eyeliner, a dark, sapphire one, and it actually looks nice. It's dark enough to not clash with my darker skin but it still gives a little pop while still defining my eyes. If you choose to do a brighter color, make sure you line the inner rims on the top and bottom with black.
hope it works out for you
go to my site it gives you ideas and shows you how to put makeup on. www.marykay.com/tinaosborn you'll love this site its great
I too love the eye lash curler!! Does wonders for the eyes, give it a shot, they are very cheap and can be found at any drug store or some place like Wal-Mart or Target!
get a eye lash curler and curl them up!!! then put really light liner under your eye, then get some lip stick, go with a deep shade of pink or red depending how dark you are...hair magazine

Does Mineral Make-up foundation really work good like any other liquid foundation?
I'm just thinking about trying a healthier make-up idea and was just wondering if it does? Also, does Mineral Make-up stay on for long hours?Does Mineral Make-up foundation really work good like any other liquid foundation?
I heard that it does. It is suppose to be better 4 ur skin and protect from blemishes. I just ordered some to try it. I hope it works.Does Mineral Make-up foundation really work good like any other liquid foundation?
I just switched to mineral makeup from liquid and let me tell you I am in love. It stays on better and has better oil control. I look much more natural and I am just more confident in this makeup. The best part is I don't feel it like I did the liquid. I use the brand Everyday Minerals. It has a great rating on makeup review site makeupalley.com. A lot of people like it over Bare Minerals because it doesn't have bismuth in it which can irritate the skin. It is also cheaper in price.
It is 100% natural too. If you want to try you can get a generous sample kit and all you have to pay is like $4 shipping. I got me and my mom samples and then we liked it so much we bought a custom kit. The long handled kabuki brush on that site is a must have too if you do want to buy.
If anything just get the free sample and see how you like it! You can choose 3 foundations, a concealer, and a blush. You can order a lot of samples to find your color and even email a picture of yourself to the company and they will recommend what shades would best suit you.
Good luck!
i love it! it stays on a long time and is really good coverage and i don't have breakouts anymore. just don't get the drug store crap it doesn't work as well as the pure mineral foundation at merel norman cosmetics. theirs is the best out there! trust me i've tried them all!
In 2006, I bought Bare Minerals (Bare Escentuals) for my Christmas resent to me and I've never gone back. I love it. I also tried the one that Leeza Gibbons promotes, but I don't like it as much. It goes on too thick.
The Bare Escentuals (BE from now on) is fabulous. It's no more $$ than other make-up you'd buy at Department stores. The best thing to do is go to one of their stores or Sephora or Ulta and get someone to help you decided which color combo is for you. Then buy the kit that's about $60. It's price controlled like Ipods and stuff so you can't buy it for less Except on QVC. The lady that's the CEO, Leslie, does those sales on QVC and I've gotten great deals there. But first you need to kno what color to buy, so go to one of the stores. One other shopping tip is buy kits. They are much cheaper than buying one item at a time.. I have spent more $$ than I care to admit! LOL
Here's the reasons it so wonderful. You'll never have to worry about that line where your liquid foundation is at your face/neck. It's odd, but it just doesn't do it. EVER! Also, you can put on a little or if you need heavy makeup one day for what ever reason, you just load up the brush again and swirl, tap and buff some more. It really gives an airbrush quality to your look. It also looks like your not wearing as much make up. I'm wearing it in my profile picture, It just blends so nicely. I love it. I'm 44 and all of my friends made fun of me when they'd call and say, ';What are you doing?'; and I'd say,';Playing with make-up! You've gotta try this stuff!'; I've turned my 18 year old daughter on to it and my 13 year old is just begining to really want more make up and she's using it too. No I don't work for them. ; )
If you go to Ulta, I know they'll do your makeup for you and you can see the difference. The kit may be cheaper on QVC's web site though and you can also go to the company website, but I know they say she (Leslie) does really good pricing for QVC. The beginner kit comes with a DVD on applying the makeup. And you can see when the info-mercials or when she'll be on QVC and then that's more free 'lessons'.
You need their brushes. They're great and they do hold the product in the bristles so that the whole program works better. But they come with the kits, so that's why I get the kits.
I just looked up the addresses and it says Leslie will be on QVC on the 26th. When she does the QVC things she sells things cheaper shile the TV elling part is going on, so you might can get a better deal if you watch and buy it then. But go check your color first! It's odd, but there aren't a bunch of different colors to pick from but they match absolutely everyone. Strange but true. ; )
QVC Show Date and Times: also saw 10-12pm EST on the 25th.

10pm 鈥?Midnight EST
You'll never go back to streaky, messy, goopy, line leaving liquid makeup again!
And YES it does stay on longer. The mineral viel that you use last, is like powder, but not thick like traditional powder. It also helps make your pores look smaller, it's all like magic, I promise.
Go to all the sites and see where you can get the best deal. The best deal WILL be on line, the stores are all the same $. Though, I've never been to one of Bare Escentuals stores, they may be different.
Good Luck and I know you'll love it!
Well i recently just bought mineral make-up and it works really good. It makes my skin feel really clean and , it doesn't even look/feel like I'm wearing make-up. I also have liquid make-up for my face, and i don't really like it because it feels that there is so much make-up on my face. I suggest going to CVS and getting the new Maybelline mineral make-up and the Maybelline mouesse concealer/foundation. They work great and stay on long!
Hope you find make-up you like!
I don't think that it works like a liquid, becasue liquid foundation is super thick and cakey. But it works for me and stays on.
I love the Liquid Powder Mineral Foundation from Bee-Luscious. It is the best of both liquid and minerals. It has no bismuth or talc like BM and BE and no oils to clog your pores. This stuff has real staying power. I had it on for like 15 hours once and it never faded one bit!
yea.. depends on what makeup your using.. what brand.. liquid can be good.. like clinique is hypoallerginic.. good makeup i use that and no breakouts for me :)
No... better.
It isnt liquid, its powder.
and, it stays on for me.
BARE MINERALS ! Buy it, it works amazing. It is so fresh and isn't cakey, doesn't dry out your skin, it really makes your skin look perfect.

it works better, its not as thick (obviously) and it wont feel as heavy on your face. It looks better, and it wont clog your pores as much. I know its expensive, but i would totally spend the money on Sheer Cover!
You know what? I'm a foundation freak. I have like 4 drawers full of em' and I personally don't like mineral foundation, it works for some people, and it doesn't work for others.
It doesn't cover anything AT ALL.
%26amp; just because it's minerals doesn't mean its better for your face, it has minerals that aren't good for you skin either.
Just use regular liquid or matte foundation and wash it off at night before you go to sleep!
